STAMFORD, Conn. – January 4, 2017 – With the Columbus Blue Jackets attempting to tie the NHL record for consecutive victories tomorrow night against the Washington Capitals, NBCSN will begin its NHL Live pre-game coverage of its originally-scheduled Sabres-Blackhawks game at 7 p.m. ET – 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled – to provide additional live look-ins of Blue Jackets-Capitals.
Columbus leads the NHL with a 27-5-4 record and has won 16 straight. They defeated Edmonton by a score of 3-1 last night to move within one win of the NHL record of 17 consecutive victories, set by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1992-93 season.
