In addition, the show breaks down QB Marcus Mariota and the Tennessee Titans’ fourth quarter comeback against the Kansas City Chiefs, and examines the strong performance by the New England Patriots’ defense in their 16-3 AFC East clinching win over the Denver Broncos.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the 30-minute long NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode includes:

  • Buccaneers – Cowboys: NFL Films reviews Elliott’s 159 rushing yards on Sunday, and analyzes his franchise record-breaking 13th rushing touchdown, which broke the Cowboys’ record for rushing touchdowns by a rookie. The segment features in-game audio from Elliott during the matchup, and highlights his memorable touchdown celebration and Salvation Army “kettle leap.”

  • Titans – Chiefs: NFL Turning Point studies the Chiefs’ inability to score late in the game, and analyzes how Mariota orchestrated the Titans’ comeback in the fourth quarter. In addition, the segment reviews Titans K Ryan Succop’s game-winning 53-yard field goal, and Chiefs’ head coach Andy Reid’s failed attempt to ice Succop.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

During the 2016-17 season NBCSN will air a total of 21 NFL Turning Point episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl LI.
