STAMFORD, Conn. – November 29, 2016 – This week’s all-new edition of NFL Turning Point, debuting Thursday at 2:30 a.m. ET / Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. PT on NBCSN, takes an in-depth look at the New England Patriots’ matchup with the New York Jets, and breaks down QB Tom Brady and the Patriots’ game-winning drive.

In addition, the show examines the performance QB Derek Carr in the Oakland Raiders’ victory against the Carolina Panthers, and shines a spotlight on the strength of the Baltimore Ravens’ defense in the team’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the 30-minute long NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode includes:

  • Patriots – Jets: NFL Films examines how Brady orchestrated the Patriots’ 83-yard game-winning drive, and secured his league record-tying 200th career win. The segment analyzes WR Malcolm Mitchell’s matchup with Jets CB Darrelle Revis, and reviews Mitchell’s game-winning touchdown catch.
  • Panthers – Raiders:NFL Turning Point studies Carr’s 26 completions on 38 pass attempts for 315 yards and two touchdowns, and takes a look at how Carr led the Raiders to victory despite being injured early in the game. In addition, the segment highlights the impact of TE Clive Walford, and how his touchdown catch in the fourth quarter proved to be the “turning point” in the game.
  • Bengals – Ravens:The segment analyzes the strong performance of the Ravens’ defense on Sunday, and reviews the pressure that Baltimore’s pass rush put on Bengals’ QB Andy Dalton.

Wednesday night’s Sounds of The Game – Powered by BOSE – segment will feature the Best of NFL Films Week 12 wires.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

During the 2016-17 season NBCSN will air a total of 21 NFL Turning Point episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl LI.
