STAMFORD, Conn. – November 22, 2016 – This week’s all-new edition of NFL Turning Point, debuting Thursday at 2:30 a.m. ET / Wednesday at 11:30 p.m. PT on NBCSN, breaks down the Washington Redskins’ matchup with the Green Bay Packers, and analyzes the strong performance of QB Kirk Cousins and the Redskins’ offense.

In addition, the show examines QB Eli Manning and the New York Giants’ win against the Bears; shines a spotlight on the Minnesota Vikings’ defense in the team’s victory over the Arizona Cardinals; and reviews QB Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins’ come-from-behind win against the Los Angeles Rams.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the 30-minute long NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode includes:

  • Packers – Redskins: NFL Films examines Cousins’ 21 completions on 30 pass attempts for 375 yards and three touchdowns, and reviews how the Redskins’ offense dissected the Packers’ secondary. In addition, the segment analyzes how Cousins was able to connect with WR Pierre Garcon for a 70-yard touchdown, and WR Jamison Crowder for a 46-yard touchdown.
  • Bears – Giants: NFL Turning Point breaks down the combined impact of the Giants’ offense and defense on Sunday, and studies how DE Jason Pierre-Paul helped shut down the Bears with four tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble.
  • Cardinals – Vikings: The segment reviews the strong performance of the Vikings’ defense, and studies the pressure that Minnesota’s pass rush put on Cardinals’ QB Carson Palmer. The segment also highlights CB Xavier Rhodes’ two interceptions, including his team record-breaking 100-yard pick six.
  • Dolphins – Rams: NFL Turning Point analyzes the matchup and examines how Tannehill led the team to a come-from-behind win, after trailing the Rams by 10 points in the fourth quarter.

Wednesday night’s Sounds of The Game – Powered by BOSE – segment will feature the best sounds from the Seattle Seahawks’ win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

During the 2016-17 season NBCSN will air a total of 21 NFL Turning Point episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl LI.
