NBCSN & Universal HD Present Coverage of the Berlin, Chicago, and Amsterdam Marathons over the Next Month

STAMFORD, Conn. – September 20, 2016 – NBC Sports Group presents coverage of three marathons in the next month – Berlin, Chicago, and Amsterdam – beginning this Sunday, Sept. 25 with live and encore coverage of the Berlin Marathon. Live coverage of the Berlin marathon begins at 2:30 a.m. ET Sunday on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Encore presentations of the race will air Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET on Universal HD, and Monday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
Live marathon coverage continues with the Chicago Marathon on Sunday, October 9, at 8 a.m. ET on NBCSN, NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app, and the Amsterdam Marathon Sunday, October 16 at 3:15 a.m. ET on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. In addition, encore coverage of the Chicago and Amsterdam marathons will be available on Universal HD.
The Berlin Marathon is the first major race since the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. The 2016 race, the German capital’s 43rd, will feature eight men who have personal bests under 2:08, including former world record holder Wilson Kipsang and 2014 second-place finisher Emmanuel Mutai of Kenya, and Ethiopia’s Kenenisa Bekele.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs – will stream marathon coverage.
