STAMFORD, Conn. – August 8, 2016 – NBC’s primetime coverage of the Games of the XXXI Olympiad continues tomorrow, Tuesday, August 9, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and features U.S. swimmers Michael Phelps and Katie Ledecky, who have already won gold in Rio, and women’s team gymnastics as three-time reigning world all-around champion Simone Biles looks to lead the U.S. team to consecutive titles in the women’s team competition.

Ledecky, who shattered her world record in the women’s 400m freestyle on Day 2, goes for the gold in the 200m freestyle at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium. Phelps, who won his Olympic record 19th gold and 23rd total medal on Day 2, gets a rematch against South Africa’s Chad le Clos, who won gold four years ago in the men’s 200m fly final. In addition, Ryan Lochte makes his Rio debut as  part of the U.S. men’s 4x200m free relay team aiming for a fourth consecutive gold in the event. Maya DiRado, who won silver in the 400m individual medley on Day 1, goes for her second medal in Rio in the 200m IM.

Co-captain Carli Lloyd and the U.S. women’s soccer team takes the field against Colombia at 6 p.m. ET Tuesday on NBCSN, followed by gold medal finals in judo and weightlifting at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

On Tuesday, USA Network hosts live coverage of equestrian team jumping at 9 a.m. ET, while CNBC airs live coverage of men’s rugby as the U.S. faces Brazil at 5 p.m. ET.

Telemundo brings five hours of Olympic action starting at 10:30 a.m. ET with swimming, diving, boxing and gymnastics. Coverage includes men’s beach volleyball at Noon ET as Americans Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena take on Juan Virgen and Lombardo Ontiveros from Mexico. NBC UNIVERSO airs U.S. women’s soccer vs. Colombia at 6 p.m. ET.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 10

NBC’s primetime coverage on Wednesday, August 10, begins at 8 p.m. ET/PT with beach volleyball as Kerri Walsh Jennings and new partner April Ross return to action against Switzerland after winning their first two matches. Coverage continues with a swimming showdown in the men’s 100m free between 2012 gold medalist Nathan Adrian of the U.S. and Australian sprint star Cameron McEvoy, plus a favored American quartet in the women’s 4x200m free relay, led by freestyle phenom Ledecky and five-time Olympic medalist Missy Franklin. In addition, Phelps and Lochte seek to advance in the men’s 200m individual medley semifinals.

Wednesday’s primetime coverage continues with men’s individual all-around finals, where Japan’s Kohei Uchimura – winner of every world and Olympic men’s all-around title since 2009 – seeks to become the event’s first back-to-back Olympic champion since compatriot Sawao Kato in 1972. Sam Mikulak, who has won four consecutive U.S. national titles, could contend for a medal as the top American in the event.

NBC’s daytime coverage highlights Michal Smolen, 2015 World bronze medalist in men’s K-1, in his quest to give the U.S. its first-ever Olympic medal in the men’s canoe/kayak event, immediately followed by rowing finals at 3:45 p.m. ET/PT.

NBCSN’s live coverage on Wednesday kicks off with men’s and women’s road race cycling time trials at 7:30 a.m. ET. Coverage continues when Diana Taurasi leads the U.S. women’s basketball team against Serbia at 2:30 p.m. ET, followed by the U.S. men’s basketball team against Australia at 6 p.m. ET. Gold medal finals on NBCSN include women’s table tennis and men’s fencing, as 2015 World silver medalist Daryl Homer attempts to give the U.S. its first medal in the men’s individual sabre event since 1984.

USA Network hosts coverage of men’s rugby when the U.S. faces Fiji at 3 p.m. ET. Gold medal finals coverage shifts to MSNBC as 2008 Olympic gold medalist Glen Eller and two-time world champion Joshua Richmond compete in the men’s double trap final in shooting.

On Wednesday, Telemundo and NBC UNIVERSO simulcast live coverage of men’s soccer between Mexico and South Korea at 3 p.m. ET. Mexico looks to repeat after winning gold in London 2012.

  • Basketball – U.S. vs. Serbia: The United States takes on Serbia in live coverage of a women’s basketball Group B preliminary game. Team USA eyes a sixth straight gold medal, and for the trio of Diana Taurasi, Sue Bird and Tamika Catchings, a gold in Rio would be each WNBA star’s fourth. U.S. vs. Australia: Kevin Durant and Paul George lead Team USA against Australia in a Group A preliminary game. The last Olympic meeting between the teams saw a 33-point U.S. victory in the London 2012 quarterfinals.
  • Field Hockey – Team USA, seeking its first medal in women’s field hockey since a bronze in 1984, continues pool play against Japan.
  • Fencing – 2015 Worlds silver medalist Daryl Homer attempts to give the U.S. its first medal in the men’s individual sabre event since 1984.
  • Table Tennis – Crowns a champion in women’s singles, an event held at the past seven Olympics and won each time by China.

  • Beach Volleyball – A men’s beach volleyball prelim features Brazilian contenders Alison and Bruno against an Italian tandem.
