STAMFORD, Conn. – August 6, 2016 – NBC’s primetime coverage of the Games of the XXXI Olympiad continues tomorrow, Sunday, August 7, at 7 p.m. ET/PT, and features the women’s gymnastics team competition, as three-time defending all-around world champion Simone Biles leads the U.S. team’s pursuit of back-to-back women’s team titles.

Also, during primetime, nine-time world champion Katie Ledecky looks to add to her medal count in the women’s 400m freestyle while Dana Vollmer competes in the women’s 100m butterfly.

NBCSN’s live coverage on Sunday begins at 9 a.m. ET with women’s beach volleyball. NBCSN’s coverage on Sunday continues when the U.S. women’s basketball team begins its quest for a sixth-consecutive gold medal, facing Senegal at 11 a.m. ET. Coverage also includes gold medal finals for weightlifting at 8 p.m. ET, and judo at 11 p.m. ET.

Gold medal finals coverage continues on MSNBC with men’s individual foil fencing gold medal final at 2:30 p.m. ET, then shifts to CNBC for women’s trap shooting at 4 p.m. ET.

MONDAY, AUGUST 8

During primetime on NBC on Monday, August 8, U.S. swimmer Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian in history, looks to avenge a 2012 second-place finish in the men’s 200m butterfly, while Katie Ledecky and Missy Franklin continue to square off in the women’s 200m freestyle.

Gymnastics coverage continues as four-time U.S. all-around champion Sam Mikulak leads the U.S. men in their attempt at redemption in Rio after finishing fifth in London.

American David Boudia seeks to improve upon his London bronze in the men’s synchronized platform final with new partner Steele Johnson.

Team USA basketball highlights NBCSN’s coverage on Monday, August 8, when the women tip off against Spain at 11 a.m. ET, and the men face Venezuela at 6 p.m. ET. NBCSN’s coverage also includes gold medal finals for women’s individual sabre fencing at 3 p.m. ET, and weightlifting at 8 p.m. ET.
