Below are quote highlights from Golf Channel on NBC’s broadcast of the final round of the 2016 Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open:

Alex Noren during interview with Golf Channel on NBC Reporter Damon Hack:
Noren – “I was hitting my driver really well this week like I haven’t before and that gives you a lot of confidence when you can hit from the fairway.”

On Danny Lee’s aggressive putt that rammed the back of the cup at the par-4, 15th hole:
David Feherty – “There’s no point in reading them if you’re going to hit it that hard, they’re all straight.”

On Danny Lee:
Terry Gannon – “Yesterday, couldn’t hit a fairway.  Today, couldn’t make a putt.  Ball striking has been very good, but his putting let him down today.”

On Matteo Manassero:
Warren Humphries – “At least he’s put himself in this situation.  He hasn’t been anywhere near the top of a leaderboard in a while … he can’t be grumbling.  He’s easing his way back into being a tournament winner again.”

On Graeme McDowell:
Feherty – “He’ll be encouraged by his play this week.  I know he loves Royal Troon.”

On Tyrrell Hatton:
Phil Blackmar – “Hatton has barely made a putt all day. He’s burned the edges all day long … you start trying to force it.  It’s like that cellophane on top of the hole just keeps getting thicker.”

On Andy Sullivan’s double-bogey on Hole 12, going from one to three shots behind leader:
Curt Byrum – “A lot of harm on a very easy par-5 playing downwind.”
