Ladies European Tour Returns to the Czech Republic

ORLANDO, Fla. (June 14, 2016) – The LPGA Tour returns to Michigan this week for the Meijer LPGA Classic taking place in Grand Rapids, featuring a stellar field that includes World No. 1 Lydia Ko, No. 2 and KPMG Women’s PGA Champion Brooke Henderson, defending champion Lexi Thompson and Gerina Piller, who with nine top-15 finishes this year is seeking not only her first LPGA win, but also is on the bubble to represent Team U.S.A. at the Olympics. The Ladies European Tour heads to the Czech Republic this week for the Tipsport Golf Masters, with Golf Channel airing third and final round coverage on Saturday and Sunday.

Thompson defends: Lexi Thompson (-18) defeated Lizette Salas and Gerina Piller by one stroke in 2015 to earn her fifth career LPGA victory.
