NHL
The 2016 Stanley Cup Final shifts to the west coast for a primetime showdown on NBCSN on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET, as Joe Thornton and the San Jose Sharks host a Stanley Cup Final game for the first time in franchise history when they welcome Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins to SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., for Game 3.
Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick (play-by-play) is joined by analyst Eddie Olczyk, and ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire.
Pre-game coverage begins at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN with NHL Live, hosted by Kathryn Tappen and Dave Briggs alongside analysts Jeremy Roenick, Anson Carter and Brian Boucher on-set outside of SAP Center. Coverage shifts inside at 7:30 p.m. ET with host Liam McHugh, who will anchor pre-game and intermission coverage alongside analysts and former players Mike Milbury and Keith Jones.
FRENCH OPEN
NBC presents live coverage of the final rounds of the 2016 French Open this weekend, with the women’s final this Saturday, June 4, at 9 a.m. ET and men’s final this Sunday, June 5 at 9 a.m. ET.
Ted Robinson handles play-by-play for NBC Sports Group’s coverage, joined by analysts John McEnroe and Mary Carillo. This is Robinson’s 17th French Open in the anchor chair for NBC. McEnroe and Carillo teamed to win the mixed doubles title at the 1977 French Open.
GYMNASTICS
NBC Sports Group begins its coverage of the 2016 P&G Men’s Gymnastics Championships this Sunday, June 5, live at 2 p.m. ET from XL Center in Hartford, Conn. NBCSN hosts coverage of the Women’s Secret U.S. Classic from Hartford later that evening at 9:30 p.m. ET.
NBC Sports Group’s gymnastics team of play-by-play voice Al Trautwig, two-time Olympic medalist Tim Daggett, 2008 Olympic all-around champion Nastia Liukin and reporter Andrea Joyce will host coverage for all events.
RUGBY
NBC, NBCSN and Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia will combine to present more than 15 hours of Rugby Sevens action from the annual Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship from Talen Energy Stadium in Philadelphia, Pa.
Coverage begins on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN with live preliminary-round matches, followed by live coverage on NBC at 4 p.m. ET. Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship coverage continues Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN, and shifts to NBC at 4 p.m. ET with live coverage of the Championship Final.
Todd Harris will serve as the play-by-play commentator for all telecasts. Harris will be joined in the booth by former USA Sevens captain and USA Rugby World Cup participant Brian Hightower. Tracy Wilson will report all the action from the sidelines.
CYCLING
NBC Sports Group continues its robust coverage of the 2016 cycling season with daily coverage of the Criterium du Dauphine, beginning with the Prologue this Sunday, June 5, at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
Steve Schlanger handles play-by-play for the Criterium du Dauphine, alongside analyst Christain Vande Velde.
VOLLEYBALL
NBC Sports Group continues its coverage of the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour this weekend with the Seattle Open on Saturday, June 5, at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
Veteran broadcaster and Olympic gold medalist Chris Marlowe will serve as the play-by-play announcer for all AVP telecasts on NBC and NBCSN this season. Marlowe will be joined by beach volleyball Olympian and three-time All-American Kevin Wong (analyst), and Olympic gold medalist Dain Blanton (reporter).
GOLF
NBC Sports Group’s tournament coverage resumes this weekend with the PGA TOUR’s Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, the European Tour’s Nordea Masters, the ShopRite LPGA Classic and the PGA TOUR CHAMPIONS’ Principal Charity Classic
This weekend’s live tournament coverage of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide begins today at 3:30 p.m. on Golf Channel. Golf Channel’s coverage continues on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and Sunday at 12:00 p.m.
Terry Gannon (play-by-play) hosts Golf Channel’s coverage of tournament from Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. Gannon will be joined by Nick Faldo (analyst), Matt Gogel (tower), Craig Perks (on-course), and Todd Lewis (interviews).
Golf Channel’s weekend live tournament coverage of the Nordea Masters continues this Saturday at 7:30 a.m. and Sunday at 7:00 a.m.
Julian Tutt (play-by-play) hosts Golf Channel’s coverage of tournament from Bro Hof Slott Golf Club in Stockholm, Sweden. Tutt will be joined by Tony Johnstone (analyst), and Jay Townsend (on-course).
This weekend’s live tournament coverage of the ShopRite LPGA Classic in Stockton Seaview Hotel & Golf Club Galloway, N.J. continues on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. on Golf Channel.
The host of Golf Channel’s coverage is Tom Abbott (play-by-play). Abbott will be joined by Jane Crafter (analyst), Jim Gallagher Jr. (tower) and Jerry Foltz and Kay Cockerill (on-course).
