STAMFORD, Conn. – May 20, 2016 – This weekend’s Stanley Cup Conference Finals coverage is highlighted by Game 4 of the Western Conference Final on NBC in primetime this Saturday, immediately following the Preakness Stakes, when Brent Burns and the San Jose Sharks host David Backes and the St. Louis Blues. Puck drop of Saturday’s Game 4 on NBC is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. ET.
Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Joe Micheletti (analyst), and Emmy Award-winning ‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst Pierre McGuire will have the call of Saturday’s Blues-Sharks Game 4 matchup from SAP Center in San Jose, Calif.
This weekend’s NHL Conference Finals coverage begins tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN with Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final, as Tyler Johnson and the Tampa Bay Lightning host Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. NBCSN will present Game 5 of Lightning-Penguins on Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET.
Three-time Emmy Award-winning play-by-play commentator Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick and McGuire will have the call of tonight’s Game 4 matchup from Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member and analyst Eddie Olczyk will join Emrick and McGuire for Game 5 at CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa., on Sunday, following his assignment as an analyst and handicapper for Saturday’s Preakness Stakes coverage on NBC.
Pre-game coverage tonight and Sunday begins at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN with NHL Live. Kathryn Tappen and Liam McHugh anchor this weekend’s studio coverage alongside analysts and former players Mike Milbury, Keith Jones, Jeremy Roenick, and Anson Carter.

EASTERN CONFERENCE FINAL – PENGUINS-LIGHTNING GAMES 4 AND 5 – TONIGHT AND SUNDAY AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – PENGUINS LEAD 2-1
The Pens took a 2-1 series lead with a 4-2 win in Game 3 on Wednesday night, as Sidney Crosby netted the game-winner for the second straight game in this series. Phil Kessel scored his seventh goal of the postseason, and Pittsburgh outshot Tampa Bay by a 48-28 margin. Pittsburgh’s “HBK” line of Carl Hagelin, Nick Bonino, and Kessel combined for five points in Game 3, and have totaled nine points in the series. Tampa Bay’s “Triplets” line produced in Game 3, as Tyler Johnson and Ondrej Palat each scored, while Nikita Kucherov registered two assists.
WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL GAME 4 – BLUES-SHARKS – SATURDAY AT 7:15 P.M. ET ON NBC – SHARKS LEAD 2-1
San Jose recorded its sixth consecutive home win of the Stanley Cup Playoffs on Thursday night with a 3-0 win over St. Louis, as Martin Jones made 22 saves for his second straight shutout and third in his last four games. Sharks forward Tomas Hertl scored a pair of goals in the win, including his third-period tally which chased Brian Elliott from the Blues’ net after allowing three goals on just 14 shots. The Blues have scored just twice in the series, and have been shut out in the past 150:45, dating back to the midpoint of Game 1.
