STAMFORD, Conn. – May 19, 2016 – NBC Sports Group’s Stanley Cup Playoffs coverage shifts to the west coast tonight at 9 p.m. ET on NBCSN for a pivotal Game 3 in the Western Conference Final, when Brent Burns and the San Jose Sharks host David Backes and the St. Louis Blues.

Kenny Albert (play-by-play), Joe Micheletti (analyst), and Brian Boucher (‘Inside-the-Glass’) will have the call of tonight’s Blues-Sharks Game 3 matchup from SAP Center in San Jose, Calif.

Pre-game coverage begins tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN with NHL Live. Liam McHugh hosts tonight’s studio coverage alongside analysts and former players Mike Milbury, Keith Jones and Anson Carter.

WESTERN CONFERENCE FINAL GAME 4 – BLUES-SHARKS – TONIGHT AT 9 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – SERIES TIED 1-1

The Western Conference Final shifts to San Jose for Game 3 tonight at 9 p.m. ET on NBCSN with the Blues and Sharks tied at one game apiece in the best-of-seven series. San Jose evened the series with a 4-0 win in Game 2 on Tuesday night, as Martin Jones made 26 saves to record his second career postseason shutout. Sharks defenseman Brent Burns scored a pair of power play goals in the win and has recorded 18 points this postseason, one behind teammate Logan Couture’s league-leading 19 points.

San Jose had just 18 wins at home in the regular season, fewest among all playoff teams, but has gone 5-1 at SAP Center in the postseason with five consecutive wins. The Blues won the only regular-season meeting vs. the Sharks in San Jose by a score of 1-0, as Brian Elliott posted a 37-save shutout on March 22.

 


PENGUINS-LIGHTNING EASTERN CONFERENCE FINAL GAME 4 – TOMORROW AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – PENGUINS LEAD 2-1

NBCSN presents Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Final tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET, when Tyler Johnson and the Tampa Bay Lightning host Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Pens took a 2-1 series lead with a 4-2 win in Game 3 on Wednesday night, as Crosby netted the game-winner for the second straight night. Phil Kessel scored his seventh goal of the postseason, and Pittsburgh outshot Tampa Bay by a 48-28 margin. Pre-game coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET with NHL Live.
