GAME 7 – (WC1) PREDATORS AT (3) SHARKS – TONIGHT AT 9 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Nashville forced tonight’s Game 7 with its second consecutive overtime win at home, as Viktor Arvidsson netted his first career Stanley Cup Playoff goal 2:03 into the extra session to keep the Predators alive with a 4-3 victory in Game 6 on Monday night. The Predators won despite two goals from Sharks forward Chris Tierney and Logan Couture’s sixth goal of the postseason. Nashville will now play in its second Game 7 of the postseason and in the franchise’s history, following its 2-1 win in Game 7 against Anaheim in the First Round.

The home team has won each game in this series, and Nashville has never won a playoff game in San Jose; the Predators are 0-7 all-time at the SAP Center in the postseason. However, Predators head coach Peter Laviolette is 5-1 all-time in Game 7s, including five straight wins.
