COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS FORWARD GREGORY CAMPBELL AND NEW JERSEY DEVILS GOALTENDER CORY SCHNEIDER TO SERVE AS GUEST ANALYSTS ON NHL LIVE

Columbus Blue Jackets forward and 2011 Stanley Cup winner Gregory Campbell and New Jersey Devils goaltender and 2016 NHL All-Star Cory Schneider will serve as guest analysts on NHL Live this week. Campbell, an 11-year NHL veteran and member of the 2011 Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins, will join the NHL Live studio team on Wednesday, April 20, and Thursday, April 21. Schneider, who just completed his third season with the Devils and ranked fourth in the NHL in goals against average (2.15) and save percentage (.924), will be in the NHL Live studio on Sunday, April 24, and Monday, April 25.

TONIGHT – APRIL 18

NHL Live, hosted by Liam McHugh, with analysts Keith Jones and Jeremy Roenick, begins at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Dave Briggs and Anson Carter will anchor CNBC’s studio coverage.

GAME 3 – (1) CAPITALS AT (WC2) FLYERS – 7 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – CAPS LEAD 2-0

The Flyers look to return to form tonight at home with a Game 3 win over the Capitals. Washington earned a 2-0 series lead on Saturday night with a 4-1 win, as Braden Holtby made 41 saves to backstop the Caps to victory, despite being outshot 42-23 in the game. Nicklas Backstrom posted his fifth career playoff game with at least three points on Saturday night, scoring and adding two assists in the win. This marks the eighth time in franchise history that the Caps have held a 2-0 playoff best-of-seven series lead. However, Washington is just 2-5 all-time in those series.

GAME 3 – (1) STARS AT (WC2) WILD – 8:30 P.M. ET ON CNBC – STARS LEAD 2-0

The Stars-Wild first round series shifts north to Minnesota for Game 3 tonight with the Wild desperate for a victory. The Stars won Game 2 by a score of 2-1 to take a 2-0 series lead, courtesy of a fluke goal in the second period, as Antoine Rousell’s redirection from behind the Wild net bounced off the back of goaltender Devan Dubnyk and into the goal late in the second period. The Wild have lost seven straight games dating back to the regular season, and will need a victory tonight to avoid a 3-0 series deficit.

GAME 3 – (2) LOS ANGELES AT (3) SAN JOSE – 10:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – SHARKS LEAD 2-0

The Kings travel to San Jose to face the Sharks in Game 3 of their first-round series tonight at 10:30 p.m. ET, as Los Angeles looks for its first win of the playoffs. San Jose captain Joe Pavelski has scored three goals in the first two games of the series, and opened the scoring in Game 2 with a goal on the Sharks’ first shot of the game, as former King Martin Jones made 26 saves in a 2-1 win. Los Angeles goaltender Jonathan Quick has struggled against San Jose this season, posting a 0-5-0 record against the Sharks with a 3.88 goals against average and a .854 save percentage.
