Begay, a three-time All-American at Stanford (1992, ’94, ’95), is a Golf Channel analyst and will serve as a course reporter for the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championships.Stanford teammates and members of the 1994 NCAA national championship team Notah Begay, Casey Martin and Conrad Ray will talk about their experiences competing at Stanford together and preview the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships, taking place at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore., May 20-June 1.

Martin, a two-time All-American at Stanford (1991, ’94), is now in his 10th year as men’s head golf coach at Oregon, host school for the championships.

Ray, a three-year letterman at Stanford and captain of the 1997 team, is in his 12th season as men’s head golf coach at Stanford. He is one of the few NCAA head coaches to have won a national championship both as a player (1994) and as a coach (2007).

Hosted by the University of Oregon at Eugene Country Club in Eugene, Ore., the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships will feature the top collegiate golfers in America. Teams and student athletes who advance from NCAA regional competition will compete for individual and team national championship honors.

Golf Channel will televise both the men’s and women’s golf championships Monday-Wednesday (May 23-25 and May 30-June 1). Coverage for both the men and women will feature the crowning of the individual champions on Monday, followed by coverage of all three rounds of the eight-team match-play tournament on Tuesday and Wednesday.
