Jason Day – “I was nervous. I was really, really nervous over that putt [to close out the match]. I mean it’s great to feel those things. I’m going to take that experience that I’ve had today against Rory into the future and furthermore into the tournaments that we play against each other. But it was a hard match today to try and beat him… I would have been a little bit disappointed going through all this stuff and not be able to have a chance at winning.”

Louis Oosthuizen – “I lost a bit of focus on 8 and 9, I made stupid mistakes. And other than that, I felt like I’d been hitting a lot of greens giving myself opportunities for birdies. I could see he was not playing well so I just wanted to hit greens, put pressure on him and make sure I make pars.”
