CAA Conference Championship Coverage Begins Sunday, March 6 at 1 p.m. ET
STAMFORD, Conn. – March 3, 2016 – For the fourth consecutive year, NBC Sports Group will present more than six-hours of live coverage of the CAA Men’s Basketball Championship, from the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Md. Coverage of the Conference Championship and Semifinals will be televised on NBCSN and will also be streamed live on NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets and connected TVs.
NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra’s coverage of the 2016 CAA Men’s Basketball Championship will tip off this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET, with Game 1 of the Semifinals. CAA tournament action will continue on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET, with Game 2 of the Semifinals. Coverage will conclude on Monday night at 7 p.m. ET, with the Championship Game. The winner of the CAA Men’s Basketball Championship will receive an automatic invite to the NCAA Tournament.
Mike Corey will manage play-by-play for all CAA Championship games on NBCSN, and will be joined by analyst Ron Thompson.
The 2016 CAA Men’s Basketball Championship will feature all ten schools in the CAA, including College of Charleston, the University of Delaware, Drexel University, Elon University, Hofstra University, James Madison University, the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Northeastern University, Towson University, and the College of William and Mary.
MORE COLLEGE BASKETBALL ACTION
Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN will deliver an Atlantic 10 matchup between George Washington and Davidson. Steve Schlanger will manage play-by-play duties for the game and will be joined by Dalen Cuff, from Belk Arena in Davidson, NC.
In addition, NBCSN will present second-round and Quarterfinals coverage of the A-10 Men’s Basketball Championship beginning on Thursday, March 10.
