STAMFORD, Conn. – February 22, 2016NASCAR America returns tonight to recap yesterday’s Daytona 500 photo finish, which proved to be the closest in the history of “The Great American Race.” For the first time in 2016, NASCAR on NBC pre- and post-race host Krista Voda reunites with NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Jarrett and analyst Kyle Petty in studio for NASCAR America.

During tonight’s show, Voda interviews Denny Hamlin about his Hail Mary pass and what it means to be a Daytona 500 winner. Brian Vickers joins NASCAR America live on the phone Tuesday to discuss his Daytona 500 run. Tuesday’s show also includes a special Scan All Daytona, examining the best radio scanner moments of the Daytona 500, including driver-crew chief strategy, media analysis and spotter audio.

On Wednesday, NASCAR America exclusively announces nominees for the NASCAR Hall of Fame class of 2017. Regan Smith, driver of Tommy Baldwin Racing’s No. 7, also joins Steve Letarte live from Burton’s garage during Wednesday’s edition of NASCAR America. Thursday’s show includes a breakdown of this weekend’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. In addition, Jay Busbee, author of Earnhardt Nation: The Full-Throttle Saga of NASCAR’s First Family, contributes to Thursday’s show, offering a preview of his new book and thoughts on the upcoming race in Atlanta.

NBCSN presents the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East season opener from New Smyrna Speedway Thursday evening at 11:30 p.m. ET. The presentation includes a last-lap crash, an extra lap, and a controversial finish.

PARKER KLIGERMAN JOINS NATE RYAN’S NASCAR ON NBC PODCAST

Launched three weeks ago, NASCAR on NBC’s weekly podcast returns Wednesday and welcomes NASCAR on NBC analyst Parker Kligerman, who finished third in Friday night’s Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona. Available on NASCAR Talk and iTunes, NBCSports.com’s lead motorsports writer Nate Ryan discusses the latest NASCAR news each week with the major players in the sport.

As announced on Friday, NASCARTalk is set to feature a behind-the-scenes look at how Sprint Cup driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. prepared for Sunday afternoon’s Daytona 500. Scheduled to post this Wednesday, Feb. 24, the piece includes Stenhouse’s thoughts and observations from last Friday night up to Sunday morning’s drivers meeting. 2015 NASCAR ON NBC SEASON

The addition of NASCAR Sprint Cup and XFINITY Series racing to NBC Sports Group’s portfolio set viewership milestones in 2015. The Sprint Cup Championship race from Miami was the most-watched NASCAR season finale in a decade and set a NASCAR live streaming traffic record for NBC Sports Live Extra. Five of NBCSN’s top 10 most-watched telecasts in the network’s history are 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup races, and NASCAR powered NBCSN to its most-watched year on record. The NASCAR on NBC Facebook page established 308M total impressions on content in 2015, while the @NASCARonNBC twitter handle closed out 2015 with 77K Total Followers, a growth of 303% over the previous year.
