NBCSN to Present Five College Basketball Games This Weekend

STAMFORD, Conn. – February 18, 2016 – NBCSN will televise five men’s college basketball games this weekend, highlighted by an Atlantic 10 matchup between No. 15 Dayton and St. Bonaventure, Saturday at Noon ET at University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio.

Dayton G Charles Cooke and the Flyers (21-4) enter the game following a 79-70 loss against Saint Joseph’s on Wednesday. St. Bonaventure G Marcus Posley and the Bonnies (17-7) take the court coming off a 71-64 loss on Wednesday against La Salle.

Dayton and St. Bonaventure have played each other 30 times. The Flyers have won six consecutive contests against the Bonnies, and lead the all-time series 21-9. Steve Schlanger will call Saturday’s game alongside analyst Dave Kaplan.

NBCSN’s college basketball coverage on Saturday continues at 2 p.m. ET, when Saint Joseph’s (22-4) visits Davidson (15-9). Mike Corey (play-by-play) and Ron Thompson (analyst) will have the call from Belk Arena in Davidson, NC. Saint Joseph’s is currently in a three-way tie with Dayton and VCU (19-7), for first place in the Atlantic-10. Each team holds an 11-2 conference record.

On Sunday, NBCSN will feature a college basketball triple-header featuring two A-10 games and one CAA matchup. Coverage begins at Noon ET when George Washington (19-7) hosts La Salle (6-18) at the Charles Smith Center in Washington, D.C. Rich Lerner (play-by-play) and Dalen Cuff (analyst) will call the action.

At 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN, Northeastern (14-3) visits Hofstra (18-8) in a CAA duel at the Mack Sports Complex in Hempstead, NY. Steve Schlanger (play-by-play) and Dave Kaplan (analyst) will call the game.

NBCSN’s college basketball coverage on Sunday wraps up at 4 p.m. ET, when UMass (11-14) hosts George Mason (9-17) at the Mullins Center in Amherst, Mass. Paul Burmeister (play-by-play) and Blaine Taylor (analyst) will be on the call.

Dave Briggs will host NBCSN’s college basketball studio show and halftime coverage of all games on Sunday. Briggs will be joined by analyst Ron Thompson.
