STAMFORD, CONN. – January 26, 2016 – This week’s special 60-minute Conference Championship edition of NFL Turning Point, debuting Thursday at 1:30 a.m. ET / Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. PT on NBCSN, breaks down this past weekend’s AFC and NFC Championship matchups and examines the “turning point” moments that decided each game. In addition, the show includes in-game audio from select players and coaches who were wired-for-sound, including New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman, Denver Broncos LB DeMarcus Ware, Carolina Panthers LB Luke Kuechly and Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians.

NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode features:

  • Patriots-Broncos: NFL Turning Point studies the matchup between Patriots QB Tom Brady and Broncos QB Peyton Manning, and the dramatic back-and-forth battle between New England and Denver on Sunday. The episode shines a spotlight on the performances of Broncos LB Von Miller and Patriots LB Jamie Collins, and how each proved to be dominant defensive forces in the game. In addition, NFL Films breaks down the thrilling fourth quarter, including the Patriots’ first two fourth-down drives and how the Broncos’ defense was able to stop New England. The segment also examines the Patriots’ final drive of the game and how the Broncos’ defense secured the team’s victory.
  • Cardinals-Panthers: NFL Films analyzes QB Cam Newton’s overall performance in Sunday’s game and shines a spotlight on how Carolina’s dominant play in both the first and second half led the team to victory. NFL Turning Point examines the play of Panthers WRs Ted Ginn Jr. and Corey Brown, and reviews how Brown’s 86-yard touchdown in the first half helped set the team in motion for their win. The segment also studies LB Luke Kuechley’s performance, and how his pick-six helped further the Panthers’ defensive momentum and contributed to the team’s victory.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

In 2015-16 NBCSN will air a total of 21 episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl 50.
