STAMFORD, CONN. – January 19, 2016 – This week’s special 60-minute Divisional Playoffs edition of NFL Turning Point, debuting Thursday at 1:30 a.m. ET / Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. PT on NBCSN, breaks down all four matchups and examines the “turning point” moments that decided each game. In addition, the show includes in-game audio from select players and coaches who were wired-for-sound, including Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson, Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera, New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman and Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode features:

  • Seahawks-Panthers: NFL Turning Point studies QB Cam Newton’s overall performance in Sunday’s game and shines a spotlight on how Carolina’s dominant play in the first half helped lead the team to victory. In addition, NFL Films reviews Russell Wilson and the Seahawks’ rally in the second half, and examines how the Panthers were able to secure the win despite the swing in momentum.
  • Packers-Cardinals: NFL Films analyzes the dramatic back-and-forth battle between the two teams and examines how QB Carson Palmer ultimately orchestrated the Cardinals’ win against the Packers. NFL Turning Point also breaks down the final minutes of the game, including Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers’ two passes to WR Jeff Janis, which sent the game into overtime, and Palmer’s final pass to WR Larry Fitzgerald, which secured the win for Arizona.
  • Chiefs-Patriots: NFL Turning Point studies QB Tom Brady’s performance and analyzes how Julian Edelman and TE Rob Gronkowski contributed to the team’s win against the Chiefs. NFL Films also examines Brady’s tipped pass in the final minutes of the game, which fell into the hands of Edelman, and how the play ultimately clinched the game for New England.
  • Steelers-Broncos: NFL Films reviews the matchup between Broncos QB Peyton Manning and Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger. The segment also examines the series of key plays in the fourth quarter, which proved to be the “turning point” moments and gave Denver the win.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

In 2015-16 NBCSN will air a total of 21 episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl 50.
