STAMFORD, CONN. – January 12, 2016 – Wednesday night’s special 60-minute Wild Card edition of NFL Turning Point, debuting tomorrow at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, breaks down the Pittsburgh Steelers’ matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals; studies QB Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks’ dramatic come-from-behind victory against the Minnesota Vikings; reviews QB Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers’ win over the Washington Redskins; and analyzes the Kansas City Chiefs’ dominant performance against the Houston Texans.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode features:

  • Steelers-Bengals: NFL Turning Point studies QB Ben Roethlisberger’s overall performance in Saturday’s game and shines a spotlight on WR Martavis Bryant’s acrobatic touchdown catch in the third quarter. NFL Films also reviews the Bengals’ errors late in the fourth quarter, and how they ultimately cost Cincinnati the game. In addition, the segment features in-game audio from Steelers DE Cameron Heyward and Bengals RB Jeremy Hill, who were wired-for-sound during Saturday’s matchup.
  • Seahawks-Vikings: NFL Films analyzes the fierce defensive battle between both teams and examines how Wilson ultimately led the Seahawks to their come-from-behind victory against the Vikings. NFL Turning Point reviews the 10 unanswered points Seattle was able to score in the fourth quarter, and the missed field goal by Vikings K Blair Walsh that could have given Minnesota the win. The segment includes in-game audio from Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin, DE Cliff Avril and Vikings OL Anthony Barr.
  • Packers-Redskins: NFL Turning Point studies Rodgers’ performance and analyzes how the Packers regained their form after falling behind 11-0 early in the game. NFL Films also highlights how Green Bay’s defense shut down the Redskins in the second half.
  • Chiefs-Texans: NFL Films reviews the Chiefs’ 30-0 shutout against the Texans, and investigates the strength of the team’s defense.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

In 2015-16 NBCSN will air a total of 21 episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl 50.
