STAMFORD, Conn. – January 6, 2016 – Following a break for the FA Cup this weekend, Premier League action continues next week with 20 matches in seven days – including a slate of mid-week matches – highlighted by first-place Arsenal v. Liverpool next Wednesday, Jan. 13, at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Arsenal kicked off 2016 with a 1-0 victory over Newcastle, bringing them two points clear at the top of the table. Coming off a 2-0 loss to West Ham on Saturday, Liverpool look to keep their Champions League qualification chances alive this season.

NBC Sports Group’s lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls the match, joined by Graeme Le Saux at Emirates Stadium.

Mid-week match coverage begins next Tuesday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. ET with Premier League Live followed by Newcastle v. fifth-place Manchester United. Wayne Rooney ended Manchester United’s eight-match winless streak with a winning goal at the end of the Red Devils’ victory over Swansea City. The goal put Rooney as Manchester United’s second-highest scorer in club history (238 goals in 503 appearances), behind only Sir Bobby Charlton (249 goals in 758 appearances).

Following each match on Tuesday and Wednesday, NBCSN presents a live Goal Zone at 5 p.m. ET. Rebecca Lowe hosts Goal Zone and Premier League Live, alongside a combination of former Major League Soccer and U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Kyle Martino, former Jamaican National Team Player Robbie Earle, and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe.

Weekend coverage continues on Saturday, Jan. 16, at 7:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live, followed by fourth-place Tottenham v. Sunderland on NBCSN. Spurs are unbeaten in their last four matches, most recently drawing with Everton on Sunday. At 10 a.m. ET, NBCSN and NBC UNIVERSO host coverage of third-place Manchester City v. Crystal Palace, and USA Network hosts coverage of Chelsea v. Everton. Manchester City come off a crucial 2-1 win over Watford to keep pace in the title race, with Yaya Toure and Sergio Aguero scoring the team’s two goals in the final 10 minutes of the match.

Saturday’s live match coverage wraps up at 12:30 p.m. with Aston Villa v. second-place Leicester City on NBC. The two teams face different pressures, as the Foxes are out to prove that they are true title contenders, while the last-place Villans are desperate to turn their season around and avoid relegation. White calls the match, joined by Le Saux at Villa Park.

On Sunday, Jan. 17, coverage begins at 8 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN, followed by a match between Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester United at 9:05a.m. ET on NBCSN and TELEMUNDO. Next week’s live match coverage wraps up Monday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. with Premier League Live, followed by Swansea City v. Watford on NBCSN.
