STAMFORD, CONN. – December 22, 2015 – Wednesday night’s all new edition of NFL Turning Point, debuting tomorrow at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN, breaks down QB Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers’ matchup with QB Eli Manning and the New York Giants, including the back-and-forth contest between Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. and Panthers CB Josh Norman; highlights QB Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers’ performance against the Denver Broncos; reviews QB Kirk Cousins and the  Washington Redskins’ win over the Buffalo Bills; and includes in-game audio from Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, in Seattle’s win over the Cleveland Browns.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the 30-minute long NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode features:

  • Panthers-Giants: NFL Turning Point reviews Newton’s five-touchdown performance on Sunday, and examines how he was able to lead the Panthers to their 14th consecutive win of the season and continue the team’s undefeated record. The segment studies the Giants’ 28-point comeback, after being down 35-7 in the third quarter, and analyzes Newton’s 49-yard drive to set up the game-winning field goal. The episode also highlights the matchup between Beckham Jr. and Norman.
  • Broncos-Steelers: NFL Films focuses on the play of Roethlisberger and the Steelers’ offense, and breaks down how the team rallied back from a 17-point deficit against the Broncos. The segment examines Roethlisberger’s 300-yard plus passing performance against the league’s best pass defense, and reviews his game-winning touchdown pass to WR Antonio Brown.
  • Bills-Redskins: NFL Turning Point shines a spotlight on Cousins’ four-touchdown performance, and analyzes the quick pace of the Redskins’ offense. The segment is highlighted by in-game audio from Cousins.
  • Browns-Seahawks: NFL Films studies the evolution of the Seahawks offense into a passing attack, and reviews how the team has bounced back from a slow start earlier in the season. The segment features in-game audio from Carroll, who was wired for sound during Sunday’s game against the Browns.

Wednesday night’s Sounds of The Game – Powered by BOSE – segment will feature a collection of the best sounds from around the league during Week 15.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

In 2015 NBCSN will air a total of 21 episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 4, 2016, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl 50.
