NBCSN Wraps Up Year with 12 Feature Episodes of NASCAR America

Twelve 30-Minute Episodes Highlight the Triumphs, Comebacks, Dust-Ups, Essays and Stories of 2015

STAMFORD, Conn. – December 16, 2015 – NBCSN closes out the year with 12 30-minute special editions of NASCAR America. The custom shows include highlights and a look back at a season flush with controversies, victories and storylines. A breakdown of each episode and their respective air dates can be found below.

NASCAR America: The Champions of 2015 – features segments on NASCAR Sprint Cup, XFINITY, Camping World Truck, K&N Pro and Whelen All American Series winners.

NASCAR America: Memorable Victories – examines the most impressive victories of 2015, from Kyle Busch’s fourth win at the Brickyard to Kevin Harvick’s must-win at Dover and Jeff Gordon final triumph at Martinsville.

NASCAR America: Personal Stories – surveys the most memorable off-track segments presented throughout the season, including Marty Snider’s interview with Austin Dillon’s family and Joey Logano’s work with Mission 22 assisting war veterans.

NASCAR America: Behind the Wheel – looks back at Steve Letarte’s interview with former teammate Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart’s interview with Rutledge Wood and Danica Patrick’s conversation with Krista Voda.

NASCAR America: Legacy of a Legend: Jeff Gordon – relives Gordon’s victory at Martinsville and the tremendous celebration which surrounded his final race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

NASCAR America: Ken Squier’s 2015 Essays – revisits four of Ken Squier’s highlight essays from 2015 including Daytona, Darlington and Texas.

NASCAR America: Essays of 2015 – includes Dale Earnhardt Jr’s feature on the history of Bristol Motor Speedway and Jimmie Johnson’s narrated story on his longtime connection to Dover’s “Monster Mile.”

NASCAR America: Images of the 2015 Season – looks back at the most visual moments of the 2015 season.

NASCAR America: Top 20 Moments of the 2015 Season – returns back to the jaw-dropping memories and storylines from the season.

NASCAR America: Best of Scan All 43 – two-part series counts down the best radio scanner moments of the 2015 season, including crew chief pit calls, media analysis and spotter conversation.

NASCAR America: Scan All 43, Championship Edition – examines radio scanner audio from the November 22nd NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship race in Miami.

2015 NASCAR on NBC Season

The addition of NASCAR Sprint Cup and XFINITY Series racing to NBC Sports Group’s portfolio set milestones in 2015. The Sprint Cup Championship race from Miami was the most-watched NASCAR season finale in a decade and set a traffic record for NBC Sports Live Extra. Five of NBCSN’s top 10 most-watched telecasts in the network’s history stand as 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup races. Jeff Gordon’s #24Ever content was a dominant trending force throughout the season garnered 53 million impressions on Facebook and in November NASCAR Talk logging its best month ever among visits and page views.
