Stamford, Conn. – December 15, 2015 – Wednesday night’s all-new edition of NFL Turning Point, debuting tomorrow at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN, examines Sunday’s matchup between the Falcons and Panthers, and breaks down Carolina’s dominant performance against Atlanta. The episode shines a spotlight on the play of QB Cam Newton, and reviews how the Panthers defense was able to shutout QB Matt Ryan and the Falcons.

In addition, the program analyzes the Eagles’ win against the Buffalo Bills and the return of RB LeSean McCoy to Philadelphia; as well as studies Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston’s performance against the Saints, and features in-game audio from Winston during Sunday’s contest.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the 30-minute long NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode features:

    • Falcons-Panthers: NFL Films reviews the game and studies how Carolina’s defense combined for two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, five sacks, and limited Ryan and the Falcons to 244 yards passing and zero points
    • Bills-Eagles: The program highlights Bills RB LeSean McCoy’s return to Philadelphia on Sunday, and reviews the back-and-forth battle between the Bills and Eagles.
    • Saints-Buccaneers: NFL Turning Point studies the game and breaks down Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston’s performance, in which he completed 18-of-32 passes for 182 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions, and became the youngest QB in NFL history to throw for 3,000 yards.

Wednesday night’s Sounds of The Game – Powered by BOSE – segment features sounds from around the league.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

In 2015 NBCSN will air a total of 21 episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 4, 2016, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl 50.
