STAMFORD, Conn. – November 19, 2015 – The No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish look to continue their run to the College Football Playoff when they host the Boston College Eagles this Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, in the 2015 Shamrock Series from historic Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. Serving as NBCSN’s first-ever Notre Dame Football telecast, coverage of Boston College – Notre Dame begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, NBCSN’s live pre-game show.
Dan Hicks (@DanHicksNBC) calls Saturday’s game alongside analyst, 1984 Heisman Trophy Winner and former Boston College QB Doug Flutie (@DougFlutie), and sideline reporter Kathryn Tappen (@KathrynTappen). Flutie will call the game following the loss of his parents on Wednesday morning.
Liam McHugh (@liam_mchugh) will host Countdown to Kickoff at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN, on-site at Fenway Park. McHugh will be joined by two-time Super Bowl Champion and former University of Georgia QB/WR Hines Ward (@mvp86hinesward), and Super Bowl Champion, BCS National Champion and former University of Miami LB Jonathan Vilma (@JonVilma51). McHugh, Ward and Vilma will also manage halftime and post-game duties.
Notre Dame QB DeShone Kizer and the Fighting Irish (9-1) enter Saturday’s game as the No. 4 team in the College Football Playoff rankings, following a 28-7 victory against Wake Forest. Coming off a bye week, Boston College QB John Fadule and the Eagles (3-7) will visit Fenway following a 24-8 loss against North Carolina State two weeks ago.
Saturday night’s matchup will be the first college football game played at Fenway Park since 1968, and will mark the 23rd time Boston College and Notre Dame will face each other, with the series dating back to 1975. The Fighting Irish and Eagles last met in 2012, when Notre Dame defeated Boston College 21-6 at Alumni Stadium, in Chestnut Hill, Mass. Notre Dame has won the last four games vs. Boston College and holds an edge in the all-time series, boasting a 13-9 record. Prior to that, Boston College had won the contest six times in a row.
The game serves as the seventh edition of the Shamrock Series, Notre Dame’s annual off-site home game. The Fighting Irish are 6-0 in the Shamrock Series, and have outscored their opponents 220-89 in the previous six Shamrock Series matchups.

HARVARD AT YALE – SATURDAY AT 2:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
NBCSN will present “The Game,” one of college football’s most historic rivalries, this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET, when the Yale Bulldogs host the Harvard Crimson with the Ivy League title on the line.
Harvard enters “The Game” with an 8-1 record, coming off a 35-25 loss to Penn last weekend. The loss snapped the Crimson’s 22 game win-streak. The defending Ivy League champions are tied for first place in this year’s Ivy standings, and can earn at least a share of the 2015 Ivy League crown with a win on Saturday. Yale sits in fourth in the Ivy League standings at 6-3, and enters the game following a 35-28 win against Princeton.
Saturday’s matchup marks the 132nd all-time meeting between the two schools. Yale leads the all-time series with a 65-58-8 record, but the Crimson have won the last eight contests with the Bulldogs.
Paul Burmeister (play-by-play), Ross Tucker (analyst) and Carolyn Manno (sideline reporter) will call the action from the Yale Bowl, in New Haven, CT.
