CSN MID-ATLANTIC ANNOUNCES 172-GAME NCAA BASKETBALL SCHEDULE

2015-16 COLLEGE HOOPS PACKAGE FEATURES 123 MEN’S AND 49 WOMEN’S GAMES FROM NATION’S BEST CONFERENCES, INCLUDING ACC, CAA, C-USA AND A-10

 COVERAGE INCLUDES AT LEAST 86 APPEARANCES BY REGION’S TOP PROGRAMS

 Bethesda, Md. (Nov. 11, 2015) – CSN Mid-Atlantic has announced its 172-game college basketball schedule for the 2015-16 season, which features 123 men’s and 49 women’s games from the nation’s top conferences, including the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), Colonial Athletic Association (CAA), Conference USA (C-USA) and Atlantic 10 (A-10).

CSN’s men’s schedule – which tips off Nov. 13 with Lafayette at George Washington on CSN Plus at 7 p.m. – includes at least 73 appearances by 17 of the region’s top programs. Set to make multiple appearances this season are George Washington, Richmond, William & Mary, James Madison, Towson, Virginia Tech, American, VCU, Delaware, George Mason, Liberty, Radford and Virginia.

CSN, the region’s official network of the ACC, will present 43 men’s games featuring conference teams this season. Virginia Tech is scheduled for six games on CSN, all against ACC opponents, with Virginia set to make two appearances. During the season, all 15 ACC teams will appear on CSN.

As the official network of the CAA, CSN will present 28 men’s conference games this season. William & Mary is set to make seven appearances on CSN, with James Madison and Towson scheduled for six, and Delaware for four. CSN’s CAA men’s coverage will also include four conference tournament quarterfinal games in March.

CSN’s men’s schedule will also feature several games from top regional programs from other conferences, highlighted by 28 combined appearances by the A-10 programs George Washington (11), Richmond (8), VCU (5) and George Mason (4). The Patriot League’s American University is scheduled five times on CSN. Liberty (3), Radford, (2), Old Dominion, Maryland-Eastern Shore, Loyola (Maryland) and Morgan State will also make CSN appearances this season.

CSN’s 49-game women’s college basketball schedule, which opens with Michigan State at Northeastern on Dec. 18, includes 36 games from the ACC. Virginia is scheduled to make six appearances on CSN, with Virginia Tech set for two games. CSN’s ACC coverage will also include 11 conference tournament games.

The CAA women’s basketball schedule on CSN includes coverage of several area teams, including Delaware, James Madison and William & Mary. CSN will televise eight CAA women’s games, including the conference tournament semifinals and championship. Overall, the region’s top women’s programs will make at least 13 appearances this season.
