Stamford, Conn. – October 27, 2015 – This week’s all-new edition of NFL Turning Point, airing Thursday at 1:30 a.m. ET / Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. PT on NBCSN, analyzes QB Tom Brady and the New England Patriots’ win against QB Ryan Fitzpatrick and the New York Jets. The program examines how the NFL’s No. 1 scoring offense matched up against the league’s No. 1 defense, and reviews a combination of key plays in the fourth quarter which proved to be the turning point in the game.

The program also previews this week’s Sunday Night Football matchup between QB Aaron Rodgers and the undefeated Green Bay Packers and QB Peyton Manning and the undefeated Denver Broncos.

In addition, the episode breaks down the Washington Redskins dramatic comeback in the fourth quarter to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; highlights the Panthers victory over the Eagles; and features in-game audio from Cowboys-Giants.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the 30-minute long NFL Turning Point, co-produced by NFL Films, airs weekly throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode features:

  • Jets-Patriots: NFL Films reviews Tom Brady’s strong performance against the Jets, and analyzes the back-and-forth battle between the league’s leading offense and defense. The segment studies how Brady was able to orchestrate key scoring drives in the fourth quarter to secure the win for the Patriots.
  • Packers-Broncos: NFL Turning Point previews the upcoming Sunday Night Football matchup, this Sunday, Nov. 1 at 8:30 p.m. ET, featuring Aaron Rodgers and the 6-0 Green Bay Packers against Peyton Manning and the 6-0 Denver Broncos. NFL Turning Point shines a spotlight on the first-ever primetime game featuring opponents with records of 6-0 or better.
  • Buccaneers-Redskins: The program examines the Redskins dramatic comeback over the Buccaneers, and analyzes QB Kirk Cousins’ three second-half TD’s, including the go-ahead touchdown pass to TE Jordan Reed with 24 seconds left in the fourth quarter. The segment features in-game audio from Redskins S Dashon Goldson, who was wired-for-sound during the game.
  • Eagles-Panthers: NFL Turning Point examines how Carolina’s defense stymied QB Sam Bradford and the Eagles offense.

Wednesday night’s Sounds of The Game – Powered by BOSE – segment features audio from the Cowboys and Giants’ respective benches and locker rooms, during Sunday’s game at MetLife Stadium.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long-form game-of-the-week style narratives that include pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

In 2015 NBCSN will air a total of 21 episodes. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 4, 2016, will look back at the “turning point” of Super Bowl 50.
