Mobsteel Team Restores 1972 Ford F-100 Ranger for Former NFL Pro Bowler

Encore Episodes of Mobsteel Air Wednesday Night Beginning at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN

STAMFORD, Conn. – Sept. 15, 2015 – NBCSN presents an all-new episode of Mobsteel this Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET. This week’s episode features former NFL Pro Bowl defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth, as Mobsteel founder Adam Genei and co. work to restore his 1972 Ford F-100 Ranger, which Haynesworth dubs “one of the baddest trucks on the planet.” Mobsteel is an automotive reality series which follows a Detroit-based custom car shop that transforms vintage cars into modern-day street machines.

Mobsteel’s probably built me 10 cars in the past, and they’ve blown my expectations every single time,” said Haynesworth in the episode. “Where I grew up in Hartsville, S.C., this F-100 was pretty much a classic truck. A lot of guys had it, my uncles had it, even my dad had it.” The episode also features a segment at Ford Performance, where Adam gets a modern F-150 engine to put Haynesworth’s classic F-100.

Mobsteel follows Adam and his team of custom-car specialists, including his wife Pam Genei, as they restore vehicles ranging from the finest relics of the American automotive boom.

Mobsteel is an existing custom-car shop that was founded more than 10 years ago. In addition to Adam and Pam Genei, the Mobsteel team is comprised of Steve “Steve-O” Ryan (The Right Hand Man), Doug “Wheatbread” Hanes (The Builder), and Ron Coan (The Painter).
