NBC Sports Teams with UberEATS to Celebrate New Premier League Season

NBC Sports has teamed up with UberEATS, Uber’s mobile, on-demand food delivery service, to celebrate kick off of the 2015-16 Premier League season this Saturday, August 8, on the networks of NBCUniversal. Beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET on Saturday, football fanatics in New York City can order a free and authentic English breakfast directly to their doors via the Uber app.

The traditional English breakfast consists of eggs, sausages, loin bacon, black pudding, portobello mushroom, baked beans, roasted tomato, and fried bread. This is the second year that NBC Sports and Uber have partnered to celebrate the Premier League, as they teamed up last year to send branded mini-countrymens around the city.

“We’re always thinking of fun ways to reach and reward Premier League fans, and we wanted to build off our successful partnership with Uber last year,” said Bill Bergofin, SVP Marketing, NBC Sports Group. “From baked beans to black pudding, we’re excited to get fans fueled up for their morning fix of Premier League football with UberEATS.”

Saturday will be the first time ever that UberEATS has offered both breakfast and weekend service in the New York City area, perfect for fans up bright and early to watch their favorite teams take the pitch. Authentic English breakfasts will be delivered from The Peacock – a restaurant offering traditional British fare – on a first-come, first-serve basis. The service will be available in Manhattan from 14th – 59th Streets, beginning at 7:45 a.m. ET until all meals are claimed.

NBC Sports Group will once again make all 380 games from the Premier League available in the United States streamed live on NBC Sports Live Extra, on the networks of NBCUniversal, and on the Premier League Extra Time bonus TV package. NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2015-16 Premier League season begins Saturday at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN, followed by Manchester United v. Tottenham.
