REBECCA LOWE, ROBBIE EARLE, KYLE MARTINO, AND ROBBIE MUSTOE ON THE NEW SEASON

Rebecca Lowe: “It’s been a summer of big money signings and interesting acquisitions both in terms of players and managers, and that makes this new Premier League season so enticing. It also feels like a slight ‘evening up’ has taken place amongst the top teams and with time in the transfer window still left, we couldn’t be looking at four-way title race could we? Plus, we have the debut of a club in AFC Bournemouth who’ve waited 125 years to reach the top echelons of English football. No matter what, history will be made, as it always is in the most entertaining league in the world.”

Robbie Earle:  “20 teams line up for the stage of this year’s race with very different ambitions. Who will knock the Jose Mourinho, ‘The Special One,’ off of his perch? Can Brendan Rodgers get Liverpool back in the race? For some, winning is everything and second is nowhere. For others, a mid-place finish will do just fine, while no one wants to be in the last three, because that spells disaster. To all runners, remember this is a marathon, not a sprint.”

Kyle Martino: “Did Chelsea strengthen enough to stay champions? Will Manchester United’s spending spree return them to the top? After back-to-back FA Cup wins, is this current Arsenal team ready for a title fight? Can Raheem Sterling carry the huge weight of his price tag and be the youth to inject life into an aging Manchester City squad? Lots of questions, can’t wait for the answers.”

Robbie Mustoe: “The top contenders have all upgraded, and the gap to Chelsea has lessened. With new teams and new managers, this new season promises to be the most competitive ever!”
