STAMFORD, Conn. – July 30, 2015 – NBC and Universal Sports Network present championship coverage in major Olympic sports this month, with continuing coverage of the FINA World Swimming Championships this Sunday, August 2, at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Coverage of the FINA World Championships continues throughout next week on Universal Sports Network, culminating on Saturday, August 8, at 3 p.m. ET and Sunday, August 9, at 2:30 p.m. ET with the swimming championships on NBC.

Leading the 54-member Team USA in Kazan, Russia, at the FINA World Swimming Championships are veterans including 2012 Olympic gold medalist and four-time World Championship gold medalist Katie Ledecky, four-time Olympic gold medalist and nine-time World Championship gold medalist Missy Franklin, four-time Olympic medalist and six-time World Championship medalist Nathan Adrian, and 11-time Olympic medalist and 23-time World Championship medalist Ryan Lochte.

Dan Hicks hosts all coverage of the FINA World Swimming Championships joined by Rowdy Gaines and Michele Tafoya.

Championship coverage continues throughout August with the P&G Gymnastics Championships from Indianapolis, Ind., USA Swimming National Championships from San Antonio, Texas, and the IAAF World Track & Field Championships from Beijing, China. The competitions are expected to feature world-class athletes including Olympic medalists Gabby Douglas andAly Raisman, two-time reigning world all-around champion Simone Biles  and 2012 Olympian Sam Mikulak in gymnastics; 18-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps in swimming; and six-time Olympic medalists Usain Bolt and Allyson Felix in track and field.
