STAMFORD, Conn. – June 16, 2015 – In four days, on Saturday, June 20 at 8:30 p.m. ET, PBC on NBC returns to primetime at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., featuring undefeated Errol Spence Jr. (16-0, 13 KOs) vs. hard-hitting veteran Roberto “La Amenaza” Garcia (37-3, 23 KOs) in a welterweight bout.

Coverage is highlighted by a highly-anticipated showdown between former titleholders Adrien “The Problem” Broner (30-1, 22 KOs) and “Showtime” Shawn Porter (25-1-1, 16 KOs), fighting at a catchweight of 144lbs. Blow-by-blow announcer Marv Albert, and analysts “Sugar” Ray Leonard and B.J. Flores call the action. Al Michaels hosts, current middleweight titleholder Daniel Jacobs serves as a corner analyst in his primetime PBC on NBC debut, and Kenny Rice reports from ring-side. After the NBC show, live boxing continues on NBCSN at 11 p.m. ET.

A LOOK AT THE MATCHUP

A 2012 U.S. Olympian who had a highly decorated amateur career, the 25-year-old Errol Spence, Jr. looks to remain undefeated when he steps into the ring for the biggest challenge of his career. The Desoto, Texas native  was dominant in his PBC debut on April 11 as he defeated Samuel Vargas by fifth-round knockout.

A veteran of the sport for nearly 15 years, the 35-year-old Roberto Garcia has racked up nine straight victories and looks to extend that streak when he faces Spence Jr. on June 20. The Weslaco, Texas native most recently won a bout against James Stevenson by unanimous decision on April 24.
