WIZARDS PULSE PLAYOFF SPECIAL TO DEBUT TONIGHT AT 6:30 P.M. AND 11:30 P.M.

Bethesda, Md. (April 16, 2015) – Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic’s comprehensive multiplatform coverage of the Washington Wizards’ 2015 first-round NBA playoff series against the Toronto Raptors will be highlighted by the first six potential games, beginning with the opener at Toronto on Saturday, April 18, at 12:30 p.m.

Comcast SportsNet will present its signature gameday shows, Wizards Pregame Live and Wizards Postgame Live, surrounding the contests. For the first time, the network’s live playoff games, including pregame and postgame coverage, will also be available to authenticated subscribers on CSNwashington.com and NBC Sports Live Extra.

Extensive Wizards coverage will be delivered across Comcast SportsNet’s news, analysis and digital media platforms throughout the best-of-seven series. A half-hour playoff preview, Wizards Pulse, will be presented live today, Thursday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m., and as an encore at 11:30 p.m.

LIVE-GAME COVERAGE

Comcast SportsNet’s schedule of live games will tip off with Game 1 at Toronto on Saturday, April 18, at 12:30 p.m. and will include Game 2 at Toronto on April 21 at 8 p.m. (CSN Plus), Game 3 at Verizon Center on April 24 at 8 p.m. and Game 4 at Verizon Center on April 26 at 7 p.m. If necessary, the network will also televise Game 5 on April 29 and Game 6 on May 1. Television information for Game 7 on May 3 has not been announced. Play-by-play announcer Steve Buckhantz, analyst Phil Chenier and reporter Chris Miller will lead the network’s live postseason coverage.

LIVE-STREAMING

Comcast SportsNet’s coverage of the Wizards’ first-round games, as well as the pregame and postgame shows, will be streamed live on CSNwashington.com and the NBC Sports Live Extra app for tablets and mobile devices. The ‘TV Everywhere’ service, which allows authenticated Comcast SportsNet subscribers to watch from anywhere in the U.S., is currently available to customers of Xfinity, DirecTV, FiOS, Dish Network, Mediacom, RCN and Time Warner Cable.

PREGAME AND POSTGAME SHOWS

Comcast SportsNet will present live pregame and postgame news, analysis and opinion surrounding the opening-round contests. Wizards Pregame Live will air immediately prior to all games on Comcast SportsNet. Wizards Postgame Live will follow all seven potential first-round games for at least a half-hour. The exclusive shows will be hosted by Miller and Chris Miles and will feature analysts Ron Thompson, Tony Massenburg and Corey Alexander.

NEWS AND TALK SHOWS

Comcast SportsNet’s daily news program, Geico SportsNet Central, will offer expanded Wizards news, features and interviews throughout the playoffs at 6 p.m., 10:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m., led by Miller, the network’s Wizards TV beat reporter. SportsTalk Live with Brian Mitchell, which airs weekdays at 10 p.m. and 12 a.m., will feature extensive commentary, debate and interviews throughout the postseason.
