Golf Channel Digital Reaches Milestones During Masters Week

Coverage of the Masters boosted Golf Channel Digital’s properties to record-setting traffic last week. Highlights from Monday, April 6 – Monday, April 13 include:


  • Golf Channel Digital posted its highest traffic ever for Masters Week, including 38 million page views (+80% year-over-year) and nearly 2 million video starts (+221% year-over-year)
  • com drew more than 3.2 million unique visitors (+122% year-over-year) and Golf Channel Mobile drew more than 529,000 unique visitors (+34% year-over-year)
  • com and Golf Channel Mobile experienced their best Masters Week Friday for all key metrics, including the most daily page views on GolfChannel.com ever with more than 4.3 million.

Chicago Blackhawks-Nashville Predators Ranks as NBC Sports Live Extra’s best NHL First-Round Stanley Cup Playoff Game

The Stanley Cup Playoffs are off to a record-breaking start on NBC Sports Live Extra, with last night’s Chicago Blackhawks-Nashville Predators game ranking as NBC Sports Live Extra’s best first-round game, delivering 76,000 visits, 60,000 uniques and 3,336,000 minutes watched, up 5% in uniques and 19% in minutes watched versus the previous record setter.

“Free Golf for Life” Finishes as GolfNow’s Best-Ever Sweepstakes

GolfNow’s Free Golf for Life campaign concluded on Monday, April 13 as the brand’s most engaging sweepstakes ever. “Free Golf for Life” garnered more than 243,000 unique entries, a 184% increase over the previous most engaging GolfNow sweepstakes.

CSNPhilly.com Expands The700Level.com Brand With a New Online Show

CSNPhilly.com recently expanded the brand of their award-winning blog The700Level.com with a new online show. Hosted by John Gonzalez, this action-packed 22-minute show crosses sports and entertainment with creative and original recurring segments such as ‘Would You Rather,’ ‘Philly Sports Password’ and ‘Rotating Guest.’ To date, the show has generated more than 400,000 streams. NBC Sports Digital Unveils New Graphics For 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs Live Streaming

As part of NBC Sports Group’s continuing efforts to enhance the TV Everywhere experience and remain an industry leader in live streaming, NBC Sports Digital has developed new broadcast-quality enhanced data graphics that provide an improved streaming experience for NHL fans when they watch games on NBC Sports Live Extra, as previously announced.

The new functionality and visualizations include real-time player and game statistics, roster listings, and live rink maps which highlight shot locations, blocked shots, goals, face offs, hits, giveaways and takeaways. In addition, every goal, every penalty and every key moment is quickly available to viewers via the redesigned Key Events bar. Click here for more information.

NBC Sports Group’s Jeremy Roenick Uses Radius To Get In Shape For Stanley Cup Playoffs

As previously announced, NHL on NBC studio analyst Jeremy Roenick is teaming up with Radius master trainer Natalie Uhling to get in shape for NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, and the long days and nights that come with covering as many as 105 games.

For the next month, Roenick will work with Uhling on a regular basis to drop some post-playing career weight, as NBC Sports Group’s cameras cover the entire process. Segments from the workouts will be incorporated into NHL Live programming surrounding select Stanley Cup Playoff matchups. NHL On NBC Lead Analyst Eddie Olczyk Joins The Twitterverse – @Eddieolczyk

As previously announced, NHL on NBC lead game analyst and U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame member Eddie Olczyk is now on Twitter.

Fans can follow “Edzo” on Twitter (@EddieOlczyk), where he will provide insight and analysis throughout the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Olczyk will provide analysis on CSN Chicago for Games 1 and 2 of the Blackhawks-Predators series, before joining Mike “Doc” Emrick and Pierre McGuire for Game 2 of Penguins-Rangers on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC, and Game 3 of Islanders-Capitals on Sunday at noon ET on NBC.
