NBC Sports Digital to Live Stream PBC on NBC Weigh-Ins  via Meerkat

For the first time ever, NBC Sports Digital will use Meerkat, a mobile application that allows users to stream live video via Twitter, to live stream the weigh-ins for this weekend’s Premier Boxing Champions on NBC card. On Friday, April 10 the @NBCSports Twitter handle will broadcast undefeated Danny “Swift” Garcia (29-0, 17 KOs), Lamont Peterson (33-2-1, 17 KOs), middleweight titleholder “Irish” Andy Lee (34-2, 24 KOs), and undefeated Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin (31-0, 22 KOs) as they weigh-in before their primetime NBC debuts on Saturday, April 11, at 8:30 p.m. ET, from Barclays Center in Brooklyn. 2015 Drive, Chip & Putt Championship National Finals Garners Impressive Social Media Metrics

Golf Channel’s coverage of the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship National Finals on Sunday kicked off the network’s coverage of Masters Week and sparked significant social media engagement.

The event, which featured 80 junior golfers (ages 7-15) competing at the famed Augusta National Golf Club, garnered more than 5,700 tweets from viewers tuning in and more than 41 million total impressions.

Golf Channel’s wraparound coverage of the Masters continues all week with Golf Central’s Live From the Masters programming originating on-site from Augusta National.
