NBC Sports Live Extra to Stream All Bouts
STAMFORD, Conn. – Mar. 26, 2015 – World Series of Fighting returns to NBCSN this Saturday, Mar. 28, live at 9 p.m. ET, highlighted by the undefeated Justin “The Highlight” Gaethje (13-0) defending his world lightweight title against Luis “Baboon” Palomino (23-9). Gaethje last defended his title by knocking out Nick Newell in NBC’s debut WSOF broadcast in July. Palomino also enters the bout coming off a knockout win, defeating “Lethal” Lewis Gonzalez on NBCSN in August.
The co-main event features Matt “The Hammer” Hamill (11-5) facing knockout artist Thiago Silva (16-3, 12 knockouts) in a light heavyweight bout. Saturday’s card also features bouts between Jake “The Honey Bear” Heun (7-3) and Teddy Holder (8-1) in the light heavyweight division; and Timur “Lucky” Valiev (8-1) and Ed “Wild” West (18-9) in the bantamweight division.
Play-by-play announcer Todd Harris will be joined by mixed martial artists and analysts Bas Rutten and Joey Varner to call the action from Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona.
