NHL

This weekend NBC Sports Group presents six NHL matchups, beginning with two current division leaders facing off Saturday night at 7 p.m. ET, when John Tavares and the New York Islanders host P.K. Subban and the Montreal Canadians.  Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom (Inside-The-Glass analyst) have the call from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y.

Sunday’s coverage features a pair of Eastern Conference matchups, beginning at noon ET on NBC, when Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins host Jimmy Howard and the Detroit Red Wings in the NHL Game of the Week. Coverage continues on NBCSN at 7:30 p.m. ET, when Milan Lucic and the Boston Bruins visit the Capitals.

Mike “Doc” Emrick (play-by-play), Eddie Olczyk (analyst) and Pierre MCGuire (Inside-the-Glass analyst) have the call for Red Wings-Penguins from the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Dave Strader (play-by-play) and Brian Engblom  (Inside-the-Glass analyst) call Bruins-Capitals from the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

NHL Live, NBCSN’s pre- and post-game NHL studio show, begins a half hour before NBCSN’s weekend matchups. Liam McHugh hosts this weekend’s coverage alongside analysts and former players Mike Milbury, Keith Jones and Jeremy Roenick.

 

PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins Saturday at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Barclays Premier League Preview, followed by Premier League Live at 8 a.m. ET. Live match coverage begins at 8:45 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Crystal Palace v. Queens Park Rangers, and continues at 11 a.m. ET with Arsenal v. West Ham United. Coverage of the Sunderland v. Aston Villa, Leicester City v. Hull City, and West Brom v. Manchester City matches will air on Premier League Extra Time at 11 a.m. ET. Saturday’s live match coverage wraps up with Burnley v. Manchester City at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBCSN presents a new Premier League Download Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET. In Premier League Download: A Day in the Life of a Manager Featuring Roberto Martinez, Men in Blazers’  Roger Bennett traveled to Merseyside to sit down with Everton manager Roberto Martinez to find out what a day in the life of a Premier League manager is really like.

Sunday’s Premier League coverage begins at 8:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN, followed by Chelsea v. Southampton at 9:30 a.m. ET. Live coverage of Manchester United v. Tottenham begins at Noon ET on NBCSN, while coverage of Everton v. Newcastle will air on Premier League Extra Time. Sunday’s coverage concludes with Premier League Goal Zone at 2 p.m. ET.

Steve Bower calls Chelsea v. Southampton alongside analyst Lee Dixon at Stamford Bridge. NBC Sports Group’s lead play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls Manchester United v. Tottenham, and Burnley v. Manchester City alongside analyst Graeme Le Saux at Old Trafford.

GOLF

 The PGA Tour continues the Florida Swing in Tampa this week with the Valspar Championship at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. On Saturday and Sunday coverage begins at 1 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.

Sunday’s coverage of the final round begins at 1 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.

Dan Hicks (play-by-play) and Gary Koch (analyst) lead Golf Channel on NBC’s coverage of the Valspar Championship. Steve Sands (play-by-play) and Frank Nobilo (analyst) will host lead-in coverage on Golf Channel. Joining them are Mark Rolfing and Peter Jacobsen (towers), Roger Maltbie, and Notah Begay (on-course reporters), and Steve Burkowski (interviews)

In addition to the Valspar Championship, Golf Channel presents the European Tour’s Tshwane Open this weekend. Golf Channel’s weekend coverage begins Saturday at 6:30 a.m. ET, and concludes Sunday with coverage of the final round beginning at 6 a.m. ET.

Mike Ritz hosts from Golf Channel’s studio in Orlando, Fla. while Dominik Holyer (play-by-play), Warren Humphreys and Denis Hutchinson (towers), and Jay Townsend (on-course) call the action from Pretoria Country Club in Waterkloof, South Africa.

 

FORMULA ONE AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX

NBC Sports Group presents nearly 800 hours of live motorsports content in 2015, beginning this weekend with comprehensive coverage of the F1 Australian Grand Prix, which opens the 2015 F1 season on Sunday at 12:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

This weekend’s coverage begins Saturday at 12:30 a.m. ET with Practice 2 on NBCSN, followed by coverage of qualifying races at 2 a.m. ET. Saturday’s coverage wraps up with an encore presentation of Mercedes: Race to Repeat at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

F1 Countdown kicks off race coverage Sunday at midnight ET, leading into the Australian Grand Prix at 12:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN. An encore presentation of the race will air Sunday at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBC Sports Group’s Formula One full announce booth returns this weekend for the start of a third season together. Lead race announcer Leigh Diffey will provide live play-by-play commentary, and will be joined by veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and analyst Steve Matchett, a former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team. Rounding out the broadcast team is F1 insider Will Buxton, who will provide live reports on-site from Melbourne, Australia this weekend.

 

COLLEGE BASKETBALL

NBC Sports Group continues live coverage of the Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship this weekend from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Coverage continues tonight on NBCSN with two quarterfinal matchups, beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET when No. 2 Dayton takes on No. 7 St. Bonaventure, and continuing at 9 p.m. ET when No. 3 Rhode Island plays No. 6 George Washington.

Veteran play-by-play announcer and member of the 1983 North Carolina State Men’s Basketball National Championship team, Terry Gannon and former UCLA men’s basketball head coach Ben Howland call tonight’s games and Carolyn Manno will serve as courtside reporter.

 

RED BULL SIGNATURE SERIES

NBC Sports Group continues its coverage of the Red Bull Signature Series this weekend with Red Bull Double Pipe. Coverage begins Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on NBC.

Sal Masekela hosts the Red Bull Signature Series, and will be joined by Todd Harris, Todd Richards and Tina Dixon.

 

CYCLING

NBCSN presents coverage of the final days of the Paris-Nice 2015 cycling race this weekend. Coverage begins tonight at 11:30 p.m. ET with Stage 5: Saint-Étienne to Rasteau, and continues Saturday at 10 p.m. ET with Stage 6: Venice to Nice. NBCSN’s coverage of Paris-Nice 2015 culminates Sunday at 3 p.m. ET with the Stage 7 individual time trial from Nice to Col d’Èze.
