NBC SPORTS GROUP PRESENTS MORE THAN 40 HOURS OF COLLEGE BASKETBALL COVERAGE IN MARCH, INCLUDING ATLANTIC 10 AND CAA CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENTS

CAA Tournament Coverage Begins Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN

Terry Gannon and Ben Howland to Call Primetime A-10 Championship Matchups

A-10 Regular-Season Doubleheader Begins Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra

Stamford, Conn. – March 3, 2015 – NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2015 college basketball season concludes with 13 games and more than 40 hours of live coverage on NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra, highlighted by the CAA and Atlantic 10 Championship Tournaments. In addition, NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra will present an A-10 doubleheader on Saturday, featuring UMass – George Washington and George Mason – VCU.

CAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra’s coverage of the CAA Men’s Basketball Championship begins Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET with Game 1 of the Semifinals, from Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Md. Coverage of the tournament continues that day at 5 p.m. ET with Game 2 of the Semifinals. NBCSN will present live coverage of the CAA Championship Final on Monday night at 7 p.m. ET.

Mike Corey will manage play-by-play duties for all CAA Championship games, and will be joined by analyst and former college basketball head coach Ron Thompson. Russ Thaler will host NBCSN’s CAA Championship studio show and will be joined by analyst and former player Dalen Cuff.

ATLANTIC 10 BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

For the third consecutive year, NBC Sports Group will present live coverage of the Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Coverage includes two quadrupleheaders and more than 16 hours of the Second Round and Quarterfinals. NBCSN and NBC Sports Live Extra’s coverage begins Thursday, March 12 at Noon ET with Game 3, followed by Game 4 at 2:30 p.m. ET. Play-by-play announcer Steve Schlanger will call both matchups with analyst Dalen Cuff.

Thursday’s Second Round coverage continues at 6:30 p.m. ET with Game 5, and will wrap up at 9 p.m. ET with Game 6. Veteran play-by-play announcer, and member of the 1983 North Carolina State Men’s Basketball National Championship team, Terry Gannon will handle NBCSN’s coverage of the two evening matchups. Gannon will be joined by former UCLA men’s basketball head coach Ben Howland. Carolyn Manno will serve as courtside reporter for all A-10 tournament games.

Coverage of the A-10 Championship Quarterfinals begins on Friday at noon ET with Game 7 of the tournament. NBCSN’s coverage of the Quarterfinals continues throughout the day, and concludes at 9 p.m. ET with Game 10. (Further information on all game telecasts is listed below.)

On Friday, Schlanger and Cuff will once again manage the first two games, while Gannon and Howland will call the second two games. Dave Briggs will host NBCSN’s Atlantic 10 Championship studio show and will be joined by analyst Ron Thompson.

A-10 DOUBLEHEADER SATURDAY, MARCH 7

NBCSN’s 40 hours of college basketball coverage in March begins on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET with a doubleheader, when UMass travels to the Charles E. Smith Center in Washington, D.C. to take on George Washington. Steve Schlanger will handle play-by-play duties alongside analyst Dalen Cuff.

At 5:30 p.m. ET, VCU hosts George Mason at the Stuart Siegel Center in Richmond, Virginia. Paul Burmeister will serve as the play-by-play announcer for the matchup and will be joined analyst Ron Thompson.
