NHL

This weekend NBC Sports Group presents the first regularly-scheduled non-Stadium Series NHL game on NBC in primetime, when Claude Giroux and the Philadelphia Flyers host Rick Nash and the New York Rangers in a Broad Street vs. Broadway matchup Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET.

Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick (play by play), Eddie Olczyk (analyst) and Pierre McGuire (Inside-The-Glass analyst) have the call for the matchup from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pa.

Sunday’s NHL coverage features the Dallas Stars hosting the Pacific Division leading Anaheim Ducks at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET with NHL Live. John Forslund (play-by-play) and Daryl Reaugh (Inside-the-Glass analyst) call the action from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas

Kathryn Tappen hosts NHL Live, and will be joined by analysts Mike Milbury and Keith Jones.

 

GOLF

The PGA Tour kicks off the Florida Swing this weekend with The Honda Classic, and NBC Sports Group presents coverage throughout the weekend on NBC and Golf Channel. Third round coverage begins at 1 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, while Spotlight Coverage focusing on the “The Bear Trap,” holes 15-17, takes over on Golf Channel at 3 p.m. ET.

Sunday’s coverage of the final round begins at 1 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues at 3 p.m. ET on NBC. Spotlight Coverage on Golf Channel will begin at 3 p.m. ET.

Dan Hicks (play by play) and Johnny Miller (analyst) lead Golf Channel on NBC’s coverage of The Honda Classic. Terry Gannon (play by play) and Frank Nobilo (analyst) will host lead-in coverage on Golf Channel. Joining them from PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. are Gary Koch and Peter Jacobsen (towers), Roger Maltbie, Mark Rolfing and Notah Begay (on course reporters), and Steve Sands (interviews).

Bob Papa (play by play), Curt Byrum (analyst), Tom Abbott (tower) and Jerry Foltz (on course) call the action for Golf Channel’s spotlight coverage.

In addition to Golf Channel’s coverage of the PGA Tour, Golf Channel presents the European Tour’s Joburg Open, beginning Saturday at 5:30 a.m. ET, and concluding with coverage of the final round Sunday at 5 a.m. ET.

Mike Ritz will host from Golf Channel’s studio in Orlando,  joined by Julian Tutt (play by play), Dom Hutchinson and Warren Humphreys (analysts), and Paul Eales (on course) calling the action from Gauteng, South Africa.

Rounding out Golf Channel’s live tournament coverage this weekend, the LPGA Tour’s Honda LPGA Thailand begins Saturday at 1 a.m. ET, and continues Sunday at 1 a.m. ET.

Peter Doogen (play by play) hosts Golf Channel’s coverage from Siam Country Club Pattaya in Chonburi, Thailand joined by Sandra McKenzie and Kate Burton (analysts).

 

PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s Premier League coverage begins Saturday at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Barclays Premier League Preview, followed by Premier League Live at 7 a.m. ET. Live match coverage begins at 7:45 a.m. ET on NBCSN with West Ham v. Crystal Palace, followed by Manchester United v. Sunderland at 10 a.m. ET. Coverage of the West Brom v. Southampton, Newcastle v. Aston Villa, Burnley v. Swansea City, and Stoke City v. Hull City matches will air on Premier League Extra Time at 10 a.m. ET.

NBC presents a live, 90-minute, Match of the Day beginning Saturday at 10 a.m. ET. The program provides in-depth analysis, post-match interviews and reaction, plus extended highlights with match commentators. Following Match of the Day, NBC presents an encore presentation of Premier League Download, “The Southampton Way,” at 2 p.m. ET. The program investigates how Southampton, a small club, can compete with Premier League Giants.

Rebecca Lowe hosts NBC’s Match of the Day, alongside Kyle Martino and Robbie Mustoe, while Men in Blazers’ Roger Bennett hosts Saturday’s encore presentation of Premier League Download.

Sunday’s Premier League coverage begins at 6 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN, followed by Liverpool v. Manchester City at 7 a.m. ET. Live match coverage wraps up on Sunday when Arsenal hosts Everton at 9:05 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBC Sports Group’s lead play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls Liverpool v. Manchester City, joined by analyst Graeme Le Saux at Anfield.

Following Sunday’s Premier League matches, NBCSN debuts a new episode of Premier League Download, “Invincibles,” at Noon ET. The episode features an in-depth look into Arsenal’s undefeated 2003-04 Premier League title-winning campaign as they were dubbed the “Invincibles.

USSA GRAND PRIX

NBC Sports Group presents coverage of the USSA Sprint U.S. Grand Prix this weekend, showcasing a field of the world’s top-ranked international freeskiers and snowboarders. Coverage begins Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Sunday’s coverage begins at Noon ET on NBC, and continues at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Veteran play-by-play announcer Todd Harris will call the action from Park City, Utah. Harris will be joined by Luke Van Valin (ski analyst), Todd Richards (snowboard analyst), and Tina Dixon (reporter).

 

RED BULL SIGNATURE SERIES FROZEN RUSH

NBC’s coverage of the 2015 Red Bull Signature Series kicks off Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, with the return of Red Bull Frozen Rush, an innovative off-road head-to-head truck race on the ski slopes of Maine’s Sunday River Resort.

Sal Masekela hosts the Red Bull Signature Series, and will be joined by Jason Weigandt (analyst), Cameron Steele (analyst), and Kelli Stavast (reporter).

 

SPEED SKATING

NBCSN presents coverage of the World Distance Speed Skating Championships beginning Saturday at 1 a.m. ET.

Mike Corey (play-by-play) will call the action, and will be joined by former Olympic Gold Medalist Dan Jansen (analyst).

 

COLLEGE HOCKEY

NBCSN presents a Hockey East matchup tonight and tomorrow, between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and No. 9 Boston College Eagles. Tonight’s game begins 7:30 p.m. ET, and Saturday night’s coverage begins at 6 p.m. ET.

Steve Schlanger (play-by-play) will call the action for both games. Pierre McGuire (Inside-The-Glass analyst) will join Schlanger for tonight’s game. Anson Carter (Inside-The-Glass analyst) will join Schlanger for tonight’s game.

 

COLLEGE BASKETBALL

NBCSN presents an Atlantic 10 college basketball match up this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET when La Salle University hosts University of Rhode Island.

Russ Thaler (play-by-play) will host tonight’s game from the Tom Gola Arena in Philadelphia, Pa., and will be joined by Ben Howland (analyst).

 

TRACK AND FIELD

NBCSN presents two hours of live coverage of the USA Track and Field Indoor Championships this Sunday at 4 p.m. ET. The Indoor Championships are the final event in the 2015 USATF Indoor Championship Series.

Tom Hammond hosts coverage from the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston, Mass Joining Hammond will be Ato Boldon, Lewis Johnson, Paul Swangard and Stacy Dragila (analysts) to call the action.
