“Free Golf for Life” on Pace to Become Highest Engaged Sweepstakes Ever for GolfNow

GolfNow’s Free Golf for Life campaign – which launched on Jan. 28 – is on pace to become the tee time distribution and technology provider’s most successful sweepstakes to date. The outpouring of interest among avid and casual golfers alike for Free Golf For Life was magnified in part when the sweepstakes was featured within NBC Sports’ Super Bowl XLIX pre-game coverage, with both a national spot as well as a short segment featuring PGA TOUR winner Billy Horschel and NFL legend Brian Urlacher ambushing one lucky foursome with Free Golf for Life on the line.

Less than four weeks into the sweepstakes, GolfNow has received more than 115,000 unique entries. By comparison, GolfNow’s most successful sweepstakes to-date occurred in 2013, when golfers could enter for a chance to win a round of golf alongside 2010 U.S. Open champion Graeme McDowell. That sweepstakes garnered more than 132,000 total unique entries, but lasted for a total of 14 weeks. Free Golf for Life is scheduled to run through April 13, a total of 11 weeks.
