Peterson Breaks World Record With Help From NBC Sports and Deer Valley High School Students

Phoenix, Ariz. – January 27, 2015 – As part of NBC Sports Digital’s social media campaign surrounding Super Bowl XLIX, Arizona Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson visited Deer Valley High School in Glendale, Ariz., today and broke the world record for most selfies taken in an hour, according to GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS®.

Peterson, a four-time Pro Bowler, and NBC Sports Digital’s social media correspondent during Super Bowl week, snaped 1449 selfies. The previous GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® record was 657. Along with students from Deer Valley High School, Peterson was in every photo and took every picture himself.
