WINNERS OF NFL’S “TOGETHER WE MAKE FOOTBALL” CONTEST ANNOUNCED TOMORROW MORNING ON NBC’S TODAY

Tom Brady & New England Patriots Host Joe Flacco & Baltimore Ravens in AFC Divisional Playoff Game This Sat. on NBC

NBC Is Home of Super Bowl XLIX – Live Game Day Coverage from Arizona Kicks Off Sunday, Feb. 1 at Noon ET

STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 8, 2015 – Tomorrow morning on TODAY, the National Football League will unveil the winners of the “Together We Make Football” campaign contest in a segment narrated by NBC Sports Group’s Josh Elliott.

The campaign’s contest includes one winner in the individual category and one winner in the group category. Fans voted on the six stories at TogetherWeMakeFootball.com, and the finalist in each category that received the most votes will win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Super Bowl XLIX in Arizona in February 2015. The campaign will culminate with an NFL Films special airing on NBC on Super Bowl Sunday. NBC is the home of Super Bowl XLIX. Live game day coverage kicks off at Noon ET from Arizona on Sunday, Feb. 1.

All season, the NFL, NBC Sports and TODAY presented weekly “Together We Make Football” segments, telling compelling stories of football fans, players, teams, and families across the country.  The segments aired on TODAY each Friday during the NFL season and featured a profile vignette produced by NFL Films narrated by NBC Sports Group’s Josh Elliott.

NBC’s coverage of the 2014 NFL Playoffs continues this Saturday, Jan. 10, with an AFC Divisional Playoff matchup between Tom Brady and the AFC East champion New England Patriots and Joe Flacco and the Baltimore Ravens at 4:30 p.m. ET. Coverage on Saturday begins at 3:30 p.m. ET with a special edition of Football Night In America.
