SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

NBC’s Sunday Night Football presents a battle for first place in the NFC East, when Tony Romo, DeMarco Murray and the Dallas Cowboys (9-4) square off against Mark Sanchez, LeSean McCoy and the Philadelphia Eagles (9-4). Sunday night’s coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET.

Calling Cowboys-Eagles is play-by-play announcer Al Michaels, analyst Cris Collinsworth and sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.

Football Night in America, the most-watched studio show in sports, is hosted by 26-time Emmy Award-winner Bob Costas, who will report from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa., alongside Collinsworth, Tafoya, Hines Ward, and NBC Sports commentator Josh Elliott.

Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC Sports Group’s Studio 1 joined by Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com, and Peter King of Sports Illustrated. Alex Flanagan will report from Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, Calif., on the Broncos-Chargers game.

 

PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins Saturday at 8 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Barclays Premier League Preview, followed by Premier League Live at 9 a.m. ET. Kicking off Saturday’s matches on NBCSN is Chelsea v. Hull City at 10 a.m. ET. Coverage of the Burnley v. Southampton, Crystal Palace v. Stoke City, Leicester City v. Manchester City, Sunderland v. West Ham, and West Brom v. Aston Villa will air on Premier League Extra Time at 10 a.m. ET. The Arsenal v. Newcastle match begins at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Sunday’s Premier League coverage begins at 6 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Match of the Day followed by Premier League Live at 7:30 a.m. ET.  Sunday’s matches on NBCSN begin at 8:30 a.m. ET with Manchester United v. Liverpool, followed by Swansea City v. Tottenham at 11 a.m. ET. Goal Zone begins at 1 p.m. ET, immediately following Sunday’s live matches on NBCSN, with Match of Day beginning at 2 p.m. ET.

NBCSN presents two World Series of Fighting world championship bouts Saturday night at 9 p.m. ET, highlighted by submission specialist Rousimar “Toquinho” Palhares (16-6, 13 by submission) defending his welterweight title belt against Jon Fitch (26-6-1, 1 No contest).

Play-by-play announcer Kenny Rice will be joined by mixed martial artists and analysts Bas Rutten and Joey Varner to call the action from the McClellan Conference Center in Sacramento, Calif.

 

GOLF

NBC Sports Group features six different professional tournaments from around the world this weekend beginning tonight at 8 p.m. ET with coverage of the Australian PGA Championship on Golf Channel. Live Coverage of the final round begins Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.

Coverage of PNC Father/ Son Challenge begins Saturday at 2 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues on NBC at 3 p.m. ET. Sunday’s coverage begins at 2 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues on NBC at 3 p.m. ET.

Golf Channel’s Steve Sands calls the action from Ritz Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Fla.  Joining Sands will be Gary Koch (analyst), Peter Jacobsen (tower), Roger Maltbie and Notah Begay (on course), and Jimmy Roberts (interviews).

Golf Channel’s weekend coverage of the European Tour’s Alfred Dunhill Championship begins Saturday at 5:30 a.m. ET, and culminates with the final round Sunday at 5:30 a.m. ET.

Whit Watson hosts from the studio in Orlando.  Joining Watson from Leopard Creek CC in Malelane, South Africa is Dougie Donnelly (play-by-play), Ken Brown and Denis Hutchinson (analysts), and Julian Tutt (on course).

Weekend coverage of the Asian Tour’s Thailand Golf Championship begins Saturday at 1 a.m. ET on Golf Channel, and continues with the final round Sunday at 1 a.m. ET.

MECUM AUCTIONS

NBCSN’s weekend coverage of Mecum Auctions: Austin begins tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET, and continues Saturday at 3 p.m. ET. Saturday night’s presentation wraps up 10 hours of Mecum Auctions coverage this week on NBCSN.

Scott Hoke hosts NBC Sports Group’s Mecum Auctions coverage this week from the Austin Convention Center, alongside analysts John Kraman, Stephen Cox, and reporter Bill Stephens.

 

COLLEGE BASKETBALL

NBCSN’s coverage of the 2014-15 men’s college basketball season continues Saturday at 7 p.m. ET with a matchup between the No. 23 Northern Iowa Panthers and the VCU Rams.

Veteran play-by-play analyst Steve Schlanger will be joined by analyst Dalen Cuff to call the action from Verizon Wireless Arena at the Siegel Center in Richmond, Va. Dave Briggs will host NBCSN’s College Basketball studio show.

 

DEW TOUR
