NO. 23 NORTHERN IOWA TAKES ON VCU SATURDAY AT 7 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

NBCSN’s Coverage of Men’s College Basketball Live Streamed Via NBC Sports Live Extra

Stamford, Conn. – December 11, 2014 – NBCSN’s coverage of the 2014-15 men’s college basketball season continues Saturday at 7 p.m. ET with an exciting matchup between the No. 23 Northern Iowa Panthers and the VCU Rams.

Northern Iowa (9-0) is off to its best start in 50 years after a victory against Denver on Wednesday night. The Panthers are the only undefeated team remaining in the Missouri Valley Conference, and on Monday entered the Top 25 rankings for the first time since 2010. VCU (5-3) comes into the contest fresh off a seven-day break.

Veteran play-by-play analyst Steve Schlanger will be joined by analyst Dalen Cuff to call the action from Verizon Wireless Arena at the Siegel Center in Richmond, VA. Dave Briggs will host NBCSN’s College Basketball studio show.

NBCSN will present more than 45 college basketball games during the 2014-15 season, including 32 regular-season matchups featuring Atlantic 10 and Colonial Athletic Association schools, the Barclays Center Classic and coverage of the Atlantic 10 Championship and CAA conference tournament.

NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets, will stream NBCSN’s coverage of Northern Iowa - VCU.
