Stamford, Conn. – November 25, 2014 – Wednesday night’s all new edition of NFL Turning Point, NBCSN’s Emmy Award-nominated weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, will feature in-depth analysis of some of Week 12’s most compelling matchups, including Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys comeback win over Eli Manning and the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football, including a breakdown of the spectacular one-handed touchdown catch by Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. Airing at 10:30 p.m. ET, the episode will also review the key moments that defined the Dolphins–Broncos game.
In addition, Wednesday night’s installment of NFL Turning Point will include a “Best of The Week” wired-for-sound segment featuring Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan, Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte, Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, and Philadelphia Eagles DE Trent Cole, as well as an exclusive film study session with Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon.
Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the hour-long program will air throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.
This week’s episode features:
- Cowboys – Giants: NFL Turning Point analyzes how the Cowboys trailed for most of the game, but rallied from behind in the second half to beat the Giants. The segment reviews Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr.’s now famous touchdown reception and his overall play this season. NFL Films also breaks down how Romo, RB DeMarco Murray and WR Dez Bryant all contributed to Dallas’ comeback .
- Dolphins – Broncos: NFL Films highlights the performance of Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill and the team’s overall running game. NFL Turning Point also shines a spotlight on Broncos RB C.J. Anderson’s performance and his ability to gain yards after contact. In addition, the segment reviews QB Peyton Manning’s four touchdown passes.
- Best of Wired-For-Sound: Wednesday night’s episode will also feature a “Best of The Week” wired-for-sound segment with in-game audio from Falcons QB Matt Ryan, during Atlanta’s loss to the Browns; Bears RB Matt Forte, in the team’s win over the Buccaneers; Colts head coach Chuck Pagano, in Indianapolis’ win against Jacksonville; and Eagles DE Trent Cole, in the team’s victory over the Titans.
- Josh Gordon: NFL Films conducts an exclusive film study session with Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon, in which Gordon discusses his position and what allows him to excel at his game.
Each week Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long form, Game-of-the-Week style narratives that include the pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.
In 2014 NBCSN will air a total of 22 episodes, running throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, will look back at the turning point of Super Bowl XLIX.
