SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys (7-3), tied for the top spot in the NFC East (Philadelphia Eagles), visit division rivals Eli Manning and the New York Giants (3-7) at MetLife Stadium on Sunday Night Football.  Sunday night’s pre-game coverage begins with Football Night In America at 7 p.m. ET.

Calling Cowboys – Giants is play-by-play announcer Al Michaels, analyst Cris Collinsworth, and sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.

Football Night in America is hosted by Bob Costas, who will report from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Costas will be joined on site by Collinsworth, Tafoya, Hines Ward and Josh Elliott.

Dan Patrick co-hosts Football Night from NBC Sports Group’s Studio 1 and will be joined by Tony Dungy, Rodney Harrison, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk on NBCSN and NBCSports.com, and Peter King of Sports Illustrated. Alex Flanagan will report from CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Wash., on the Cardinals-Seahawks game.

 

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2014 Notre Dame Football season concludes this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC, when the Fighting Irish host the No. 24 Louisville Cardinals at Notre Dame Stadium in the team’s final home game this season. Coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, NBC’s Notre Dame pre-game show.

In addition, NBC Sports Group will present a Football College Subdivision tripleheader on NBCSN this Saturday, highlighted by “The Game” between the Yale Bulldogs and No. 15 Harvard Crimson at 12:30 p.m. ET.

For the second straight week, Doug Flutie will work in NBC’s Notre Dame broadcast booth alongside play-by-play voice Dan Hicks, while Mike Mayock will provide in-depth Xs-and-Os analysis from the sideline. Kathryn Tappen continues as sideline reporter.

Liam McHugh will host Countdown To Kickoff at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, on-site at Notre Dame Stadium. He will be joined by Mayock and two-time Super Bowl champion Hines Ward. McHugh, Mayock and Ward will also manage halftime coverage, as well as the post-game show, which will air on NBCSN.

NBCSN’s tripleheader coverage begins at 12:30 p.m. ET when the No. 15 Harvard Crimson host the Yale Bulldogs in one of college football’s most historic rivals known simply as “The Game.” Saturday’s meeting marks the 131st all-time meeting between the two schools, the second-oldest rivalry behind Yale-Princeton. Harvard enters “The Game” with a 9-0 record, and a No. 15 FCS ranking. Yale sits in second in the Ivy League standings at 8-1, and can earn a share of the Ivy League crown with a win on Saturday.

Randy Moss (play-by-play) and Ross Tucker (analyst) will call the action from Harvard Stadium in Allston, Mass.

The top-ranked team in FCS football takes the field on NBCSN Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET, when the No. 1 New Hampshire Wildcats (9-1) visit the Maine Black Bears (5-5) in a Colonial Athletic Association matchup.

Paul Burmeister (play-by-play) and Rene Ingoglia (analyst) will call the action from Alfond Stadium in Orono, Maine.

Saturday’s college football tripleheader on NBCSN wraps up with a FCS matchup when the No. 22 William & Mary Tribe (7-4) host the No. 21 Richmond Spiders (7-4).

Pro Football Talk analyst Kevin Gilbride will be joined in the booth by Mike Corey (play-by-play) to call the action from Walter J. Zable Stadium in Williamsburg, Va.

 

MLS

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs continue as the New York Red Bulls face the New England Revolution in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Championship Sunday at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBC.

NBC Sports Group’s lead MLS play-by-play announcer John Strong calls the match from Red Bull Arena in Harrison, N.J., and is joined by former Major League Soccer and U.S. Men’s National Team midfielder Kyle Martino and host Russ Thaler.

 

F1 ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX

The 2014 Formula One Drivers’ Championship will be decided Sunday at 8 a.m. ET on NBCSN, as Mercedes teammates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg battle to see who will win the F1 title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Race coverage begins with a special 60-minute edition of F1 Countdown, NBCSN’s F1 pre-race show, Sunday at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Following the race, NBCSN will present complete post-race coverage on F1 Extra at 10 a.m. ET, and air an encore presentation of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at 2 p.m. ET.

Tomorrow’s coverage begins with live qualifying at 8 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

Lead F1 announcer Leigh Diffey will call the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and will be joined by David Hobbs, and analyst Steve Matchett. F1 insider Will Buxton will serve as the team’s on-site reporter from Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.

 

PREMIER LEAGUE

NBC Sports Group’s weekend Premier League coverage begins Saturday with Premier League Live at 9 a.m. ET. Chelsea vs. West Brom kicks off Saturday’s matches at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN, followed by Arsenal vs. Manchester United at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Three-time U.S. figure skating champion Johnny Weir, 1998 Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski, and play-by-play announcer Steve Schlanger host the coverage. Analyst Tracy Wilson will report on-site from Meriadeck Ice Rink in Bordeaux, France.

NBCSN presents coverage of the the Apolo Ohno Invitational tonight at 10 p.m. ET.

Steve Schlanger handles play-by-play joined by Apolo Ohno, the most-decorated Winter Olympian in U.S. history, winning eight medals (two gold) over three Olympic Winter Games.
