Stamford, Conn. – November 18, 2014 – NBCSN’s Week 11 edition of Emmy Award-nominated NFL Turning Point will feature in-depth analysis of Tom Brady and the Patriots matchup against Andrew Luck and the Colts. Airing Wednesday night at midnight ET, the weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, will also review the key moments of some of Week 11’s other compelling games, including Eagles – Packers and Seahawks – Chiefs.

In addition, the show will include an NFL Films spotlight feature on the strength of defensive units in the NFC West. The all new edition of NFL Turning Point will also bring viewers inside an NFL film study session with Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the hour-long program will air throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode features:

  • Patriots – Colts:  NFL Turning Point analyzes the Patriots’ offensive performance and how third-string RB Jonas Gray scored a franchise-record four rushing touchdowns and rushed for 199 yards.  NFL Films also breaks down the play of Patriots CB Darrelle Revis and Colts WR Reggie Wayne. In addition, the segment highlights the matchup between Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski and Colts S Sergio Brown, and features post- game reactions from both players about the block Gronkowski placed on Brown in the fourth quarter.
  • Eagles – Packers: Packers WR Randall Cobb is wired-for-sound, as NFL Turning Point highlights the play of Cobb and fellow WR Jordy Nelson. The segment also studies how the wide receiver duo works together to defeat their opponents.
  • Seahawks – Chiefs: NFL Films reviews the play of Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch and Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles, and how Charles’ 159 rushing yards and two touchdowns helped Kansas City edge out Seattle. The segment also analyzes how the Chiefs held the Seahawks three times on fourth down in the fourth quarter.
  • NFC West Defense: NFL Turning Point shines a spotlight on the strength of the defensive units in the conference. NFL Films reviews how Seattle’s defense helped the team win last year’s Super Bowl, and how well the defensive squads of the Cardinals, 49ers and Rams are playing this year.
  • Matt Forte: NFL Films conducts an exclusive film study with Chicago Bears RB Matt Forte, in which Forte discusses the season and what allows him to excel at his position.

Each week Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL matchups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show also features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long form, Game-of-the-Week style narratives that include the pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

In 2014 NBCSN will air a total of 22 episodes, running throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, will look back at the turning point of Super Bowl XLIX.
