STAMFORD, Conn. – October 28, 2014 – In the eagerly anticipated match pitting rival clubs who have each won two of the last four Premier League titles, Manchester City and joint-league leading scorer Sergio Aguero host Manchester United in the Manchester Derby at the Etihad Stadium this Sunday, November 2, at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and mun2. Manchester City are third in the Premier League, while Manchester United sit in eighth place, coming off a thrilling last-gasp draw against league leaders Chelsea on Sunday.
NBC Sports Group’s Premier League lead play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls the match, joined by analyst and former Chelsea defender Graeme Le Saux.
Premier League coverage begins this Saturday, November 1, at 8 a.m. ET – an hour later than usual – with Premier League Live, followed by Newcastle hosting Liverpool at 8:45 a.m. ET on NBCSN and mun2. Newcastle come off of a 2-1 win at Tottenham this past Sunday to face the Reds and forward Mario Balotelli. White and Le Saux call the match from St. James’ Park.
At 11 a.m. ET on Saturday, NBCSN and mun2 host coverage of league leaders Chelsea and midfielder Cesc Fabregas v. Queens Park Rangers. This West London derby features unbeaten Chelsea against a QPR side that earned an important win on Monday (2-0 against Aston Villa).
All matches not shown on NBCSN in the Saturday 11 a.m. ET window will be available on Premier League Extra Time, a bonus television package available to MVPDs at no extra cost for customers who receive NBCSN.
Following NBC Sports Group’s live Premier League match coverage each Saturday during the season, former Jamaican National Team Player Robbie Earle and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe host The 2 Robbies “Football” Show at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSportsRadio.com and the NBC Sports Radio mobile app, with replays on-demand on both platforms.
Aston Villa and U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper Brad Guzan host Tottenham at 11 a.m. ET Sunday on NBCSN. Following the match, NBCSN presents a live, 60-minute Goal Zone at 1 p.m. ET hosted by Rebecca Lowe, who is joined by Earle and Mustoe.
Lowe will host Match of the Day II with analysts Earle and Mustoe on Sunday at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, providing in-depth analysis, post-match interviews, and extended highlights with match commentators.
On Monday, coverage begins at 2 p.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN followed by Crystal Palace hosting Sunderland at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and mun2.
THE MEN IN BLAZERS SHOW hosted by Michael Davies and Roger Bennett will air at 10 p.m. ET each Monday throughout the Premier League season.
All matches will be preceded and followed by Premier League Live pre- and post-match shows from the NBC Sports Group International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Lowe hosts Premier League Live alongside Earle and Mustoe.
All Premier League games will be streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices and tablets.
